100Characters

Page history last edited by elita_ivory@... 8 years, 9 months ago

This page will be constantly edited until I have completed both a drawing of a character, and an informational blurb to go along with them.  As I am weird, on the challenge in question, when I'd finished all the sketches, I began coloring from the bottom.  Thus, characters will be inserted starting from number 100.  NEW EDIT:  This has changed.  I'm now doing characters in whatever order I feel like, because I have no self-restraint.  I'm not even doing information blurbs right off the bat anymore.  I AM A LAZY PIECE OF SHIT, HAAAAA~  SUPER FUCKING IMPORTANT EDIT:  I AM FINALLY DONE WITH ALL THE CHARACTER DRAWINGS!!!  I will be writing up information doodads over the next few days, probably.  HOLY SHIT, I FINISHED IT!!!

1. Aurora Pryce

Name: Aurora Pryce
Gender: Female

Age: 18

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

Arguably the main character of the story, as she gets slightly more focus than Mai and Jose, Aurora is ditzy, prissy, and a total drama queen - basically everything the unpopular kids hate about the preps in high school.  At least until she winds up on the planet Etherem and dragged into a magical mess involving animal people, prophecies, and literal deities.  Then she starts figuring out how to be her own person, and letting her actual personality shine through - she's quite the sweetheart underneath it all.

Her elemental affinity is air, with her preferred weapon being an enchanted bow given to her by a demi-goddess (also of the air element).  She doesn't have much - if any - prowess with spellcasting, but not long after arriving on Etherem, she shows clear understanding and skill when it comes to manipulating her element.

2. Mai Delgado

Name: Mai Delgado
Gender: Female

Age: 17

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

Though without a doubt the most intelligent of the three main kids, as well as being shockingly accepting of things out of the ordinary, Mai is no less ill-equipped for a journey of such magnitude, being resistant not only to responsibility of any kind, but to any and all social situations as well.  Granted, she's not shy or awkward, and she's mature about handling and accepting the many differences in other people - she just has ridiculously high standards as to who she'll hang around WITHOUT giving them a hard time about it.  Much of her experience will involve learning to be more accommodating towards others, and that she can still be the tough rebel chick she wants to be even if she has responsibilities on the side.

Her elemental affinity is fire, and her preferred offense (and defense) is general spellcasting, which she develops great prowess in as the story progresses.  To increase her capabilities, she is given a Sun Drop (enhancing fire spells), before acquiring an aetheric circlet (enhancing spells overall and reducing 'cost' of casting) and a spell-storing quarterstaff (self explanatory, and also useful for hitting people!).

3. Jose Gutierrez

Name: Jose Gutierrez
Gender: Male

Age: 18

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

The most socially adept of the three main kids, steadfastly loyal and easiest by far to get along with, at least so long as things are nice and normal and make some amount of sense. While he's normally laid-back and friendly, he's the worst of the three in dealing with things out of the ordinary, and winds up very defensive and standoffish even after everyone else has already accepted it. The fact that he has trust issues doesn't particularly help. Once he views someone as a friend, though, he will gladly protect them with his life, and will hold himself personally responsible if anything happens to them. He holds himself personally responsible for a lot of things, in fact – and tends to overwhelm himself when it comes to matters he can't solve on his own, as he refuses to burden others with his problems. Much of his personal journey will involve learning to more easily trust others, and from there to allow them to help him with things he can't handle alone.

His elemental affinity is unknown until much later in the story, as it seems to be masking itself in some way. He does, however, appear to have a large reserve of magic that greatly enhances healing spells cast by others, despite doing nothing intentionally – he's somewhat averse to spellcasting, and can't entirely wrap his head around it. While he is equipped with a broadsword, enchanted with minor stamina boosters and self-repair, he prefers to use his physical strength as his main offense, being a decently gifted wrestler.

4. Velerik Elabrandus

Name: Velerik Elabrandus, "Vel"
Gender: Male

Age: 137

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

An intelligent, sophisticated, and self-sacrificing bat spirit, whose behavior is so congenial and generous that one would be hard-pressed to believe that he used to be an unrepentant con artist. From the moment he was blessed by Etherem's goddess of wisdom, he was interested only in amassing as much wealth and power as he could, all in order to outdo his hated arch-rival, Mal'Roth Soleris. Fortunately, his semi-recent friendship with the lion spirit Sierra has knocked some sense into him, leading him to quietly retire – at least, until the Prophecy of Three is unveiled.

When the story begins, while he's still very much intent on besting his rival once and for all, he's more concerned with the safety of the inhabitants of both Etherem and Earth, convinced that the prophecy will bring complete annihilation if it comes to pass. For a number of reasons which all involve spoilers, he chooses to bring three humans to Etherem with the aid of a handful of other blessed souls (Kester and his crew, as well as Sierra, to name the most significant), with the aim of derailing the prophecy before it can be fulfilled.

Unlike the three main children, he is already fully aware of his greatest faults and is working to overcome them. However, he still tends to shift blame away from himself, or to omit important details in order to convince others to see things his way. He also tends to be terribly long-winded, even – sometimes especially – when it's not necessary, though he hardly sees it as a problem in need of rectifying.  He's rather touchy about his looks, as well, though this is yet another flaw he doesn't see as an issue, masking what he believes to be an unsettling appearance with a much more aesthetically pleasing human disguise.

His elemental affinity is earth, and his greatest skill – so he says – lies in defensive magic, which is helped along by his impressive well of aetheric power. He was apparently quite skilled in swordsmanship in his youth, as well, though his reliance on spellcasting seems to have left him badly rusty, having only the tactical knowledge rather than the skill needed to apply it.

5. Kester Silmereta

(Design for the Spirit Marauder universe only.)

Name: Kester Silmereta, Kester Moneta
Gender: Male

Age: 26/8 sweeps

Universe: The Spirit Marauder, Dungeons and Dragons, Homestuck

Friendly, quirky, somewhat of a show-off, and full of sarcastic quips, Kester has an overwhelming need to relax, have fun, and do whatever he pleases. The lack of lifestyles involving all three of his greatest pleasures in life probably had something to do with why an otherwise simple and easygoing swan spirit ended up as the captain of a band of pirates. His code of honor is a strange one – he has no problem picking pockets, and will kill without hesitation to protect his own life and those of friends, but the only trade vessels he's willing to attack belong to a specific group of merchants. His raids on towns, as well, are more of a game between his crew and the villagers – in return for alcohol, weapons, general supplies, and a smattering of swordplay for amusement's sake, the villagers get a hefty discount on Kester's stolen merchandise, which through legitimate sources they can barely afford. His crew accepts these oddities without complaint, not simply because they are well paid for it, but because they are all, in fact, his friends – it seems to be a requirement to step on board his ship.

At some point before the story's beginning, he was contacted by his closest friend, Sierra, to work alongside Velerik in derailing the Prophecy of Three, his first task being to bring Aurora, Mai, and Jose (more specifically, “three humans”) to Etherem. And while Kester doesn't particularly believe that the prophecy is a thing that will ever happen, and doesn't particularly care for Velerik in general, his fondness for Sierra has him humoring the both of them. He's being paid for his work, of course, but it's less of an incentive for him than it is a reminder not to be lazy about his responsibilities; he'd get the job done whether he was being paid or not, as helping out a friend in need is far more important to him than material goods. Somewhat recently, family issues seem to have cropped up, which he is working privately to resolve, and his rivalry with the smuggler Elan Byrne has been escalating greatly, to the point where the usual lack of violence is making him paranoid.

Kester is one out of a rare handful of spirits to have a dual elemental affinity, his being a combination of water and aether. He's useless in spellcasting, however, and thus this rarity only enhances whatever magic trinkets he might be carrying on him at any given time. For the most part, though, he doesn't trust magic users or their trinkets, and so will almost never risk dealing with enchantments unless they are either necessary or greatly valuable. His preferred weapon is an example of this, being an unbreakable rapier, with which he has spent much of his life training to be a master swordsman. He's not quite there yet, but when coupled with his tactical know-how, he still has an impressive amount of skill – enough, at least, to consistently avoid the Royal Guard.

I only got to use him briefly in D&D, and I couldn't quite play him the way I wanted - while he's incredibly easy for me to write for, acting it outright is a different story.  Granted, I only got to play as him once, so...I guess it didn't really matter in the long run.  :|

His Homestuck iteration, meanwhile, has already been written about HERE.

6. Kren Teratella

Name: Kren Teratella
Gender: Male

Age: 23

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

A sociable and flamboyant peafowl spirit with a flair for the dramatic, which is fitting, given his profession and who he gladly chooses to follow; he's not only Kester's first mate, but his best and oldest friend.  Whereas Kester's skill lies in tactical planning and actual battle, Kren typically deals with the trickier social aspects of maintaining and protecting their crew, and has a vast network across the continent to aid his purposes.  He's also highly adept in stealth and lockpicking, able to bypass any non-magical lock he needs to, and his talents are well-renowned in the world of thieves; he has even proven himself capable of escaping the Royal Guard, thanks to the picks he hides amongst his overabundance of feathers.  Most would agree that he would be a far better captain than Kester could ever hope to be, but Kren prefers the position of first mate - in his own words, "It's like being captain, only without any of the death threats from other captains."

His natural element is air, though due to an uncommon polarity spread in his affinities, he's more positively inclined towards earth.

7. Mal'Roth Soleris

Name: Mal'Roth Soleris, "Roth"
Gender: Male

Age: 125

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

Velerik's sworn enemy and greatest rival, although Roth doesn't particularly seem to share the sentiment, as he considers himself well beyond Velerik's league.  This isn't arrogance, however; he really is just out of Velerik's league.  His understanding and confidence in his abilities in comparison to those of others rarely comes off as simple arrogance, as he's incredibly polite about it if he feels it must be mentioned (with the exception of Velerik, of course, whom he's more than glad to needle).  He's also highly accommodating, more than willing to inconvenience himself for the sake of others, and it has naturally left him with a very large circle of friends and allies, all of which are just as willing to inconvenience themselves for him if he needs them to.  Overall, most people, again with the exception of Velerik, would describe him as perfectly harmless.

It tends to make it all the more strange and unsettling that he not only directly caused the deaths of two of his closest friends, leaving their two unwitting daughters as orphans to his care as their godfather, but is in the process of fulfilling a prophecy that - if he succeeds - could very well wipe out all life on both Etherem AND Earth.

His elemental affinity is water, suiting his preference for life on the seas in his lavish ferry, and his greatest skill lies in the field of necromancy - not that he will ever admit to it outright. The field is one in which most spellcasters can't even muster up the aetheric power necessary to cast mid-level spells, much less those of a higher level, but Roth has little to no problem with it, his magical aura more than adequate for what he needs.  It might even be agreed that he has more power than he should for a blessed soul...though how or why that might be is anyone's guess.

10. Wetheria Duane

Name: Queen Wetheria Duane, "The Sylvan Regent"
Gender: Female

Age: 192

Universe: The Spirit Marauder, Dungeons and Dragons

A kind and soft-spoken high elf, Wetheria has long been widely regaled as both guardian and empress of the largest forest on Etherem, as well as, more recently, the nation of Vitana's queen.  Though her gentle and free-spirited nature is well known, it was her beauty alone which drew the attention of Vitana's monarch, Hidaine, who did everything in his power to draw her from the forests of the Abyssal Copse to rule at his side.  Unaware of this when introduced to him, she agreed to his proposal of marriage*, believing it to be fate, and that she had found her one true love.  Not long into their marriage, however, when she was forbidden from returning home to introduce friends and family to her newly born son, Wetheria realized that she was little more to Hidaine than a trophy wife.  The shock of that realization broke her heart, leaving her a sad and withdrawn shell of her former self, much of her former self-assurance lost.  Though Hidaine did come to truly love her over the years, she could no longer bear the thought of loving him in return, not after what she'd seen as a betrayal of the worst kind, and certainly not when he continued to keep her confined within the palace walls, only allowing her to step foot in the city beyond when in his company.  Before the arrival of Aurora, Mai, and Jose, the only things she takes solace in are the royal gardens, the only place on the palace grounds where she feels somewhat at home, and her son, Prince Willis, who (despite his youth) understands and supports her as best he can.

Her elemental affinity is air, and she has some amount of skill in protective spellcasting, as well as being a decently gifted healer.  As a high elf, which is technically just a fancy name for a tree spirit, she is capable of communion not just with the plant life around her, but with most animals as well.  Before being blessed by the goddess of nature, Wetheria was a very old and tall white willow, located at the very heart of her forest.

I didn't actually get to play her properly in Dungeons and Dragons - at least, not as far as an actual session goes - but she did have a character sheet rolled up (she was a dryad druid, if I'm remembering right), and her compatibility with potential teammates was tested via a few brief 'non-canon' conversations between the characters.  She wasn't royalty or anything of the sort, but her personality was much the same, if a lot more shy, as she had never been around anyone from outside the forest before, only being familiar with plants, animals, and other fae.  I'm not sure why she left the forest?  Probably to learn more about the outside world.

(* - I feel I should mention here that, while marriage IS a concept on Etherem, it goes by different names, and typically shares none of the romantic notions we have for it here on Earth, as - albeit with some exceptions - it is viewed purely as a business matter, meant to solidify alliances.  Marriage is otherwise seen as highly restrictive, given that Etherem's society, and thus its culture as well, consists mostly of non-monogamous creatures.  As far as terms go, marriage is known as 'binding', and to be married is to 'be bound', indicating the widely-accepted cultural view of it being a restriction.  Monogamous spirits, on the other hand, will generally refer to marriage as 'bonding' instead, and see it as a positive thing.  And, much like the different cultures on Earth, the means in which a bonding will be celebrated varies widely on Etherem, depending on both the region of the planet and the species of the spirits being bonded.)

13. Hammer Malacruff

Name: Hammer Malacruff, Hammer McDwarfbeard
Gender: Male

Age: 262

Universe: The Spirit Marauder, Dungeons and Dragons

A dwarf initially created for Dungeons and Dragons for a fantasy detective campaign, Hammer acted as a 'helpful' flunky for the detective in question, though he occasionally somewhat hampered cases thanks to his lacking intellect (I rolled a 4 for his intelligence, so...yeah).  He was a blast and a half to play, loud and exuberant and excessively friendly, with a keen sense of justice and an eye for evil individuals.  He tended to be remarkably easy for allies (and shopkeepers) to convince into doing ridiculous things, though to be fair, he probably wouldn't have minded if he DID realize what was going on, as he enjoys a good laugh - whether for his own sake or for others.  He also has a great love for nature, caves and bunnies in particular.

In The Spirit Marauder, he is still a dwarf (which is a fancy name for a rock spirit - specifically volcanic rock, in his case), and once again a sidekick, this time for the Demon Slayer, Ignace.  I'd originally intended for Hammer to be killed, and have actually already written up to (and beyond) that scene, though now I feel like I'd rather reverse the roles, giving myself more of a challenge by having the inexperienced sidekick trying to avenge his fallen comrade instead.  Especially since Ignace wouldn't have anywhere near as much difficulty avenging Hammer, given that he is a SLAYER OF DEMONS.

Though Hammer is mentally impeded, the way I used to portray him was pretty insensitive looking back, as I didn't really give any thought to his personality beyond 'happy and nutty', or the way his mind really works and processes information, or how he reacts in situations that AREN'T meant for comedy (which is normally what the D&D sessions I took part in were going for).  For the story, though, I aim to rectify that - as much as the main kids are meant to start out as stereotypes and develop INTO three-dimensional characters, I'd rather the REST of the cast actually be fleshed out to begin with.  And while he still uses a pot as a helmet and carries odd bits around in his beard, he does actually have legitimate reasons for both.  He tends to grind his teeth at times of boredom, so he keeps various hard but digestible things within immediate reach to gnaw on - it isn't always a bone, as pictured, but he prefers them.  As for the pot, he uses it for sentimental AND practical purposes; in the latter case, of course, he uses it to cook, to protect himself, and to bash in the occasional head (it's very heavy, see).  As far as sentimentality goes, it was forged for him by Ignace in the early days of their friendship, made impervious to extreme heat and most physical damage, taking into account that Hammer is often a little rough with his tools (see again: bashing heads), as well as the fact he cooks using his own fire affinity, which...most pots can't really handle for very long.  Naturally, Hammer was delighted by the gift, and has carried it around with him ever since, as it's useful not just as a cooking tool and head-bashing instrument, but also, thanks to its durability, a perfectly serviceable helmet.  Which I...failed to draw as large as it actually is.  +_+;

14. Dimitri Conghaile

Name: Dimitri Conghaile
Gender: Female

Age: 16

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

A friendly and peppy fox spirit who lives in the Tangled Grove with her brother, Shain.  She's mischievous and playful just as any fox, but unlike her brother, there's no malice in what she does.  Despite being the younger sibling, Dimitri is more mature than Shain, and does her best to take care of him and keep him out of trouble.  The both of them agree that life as blessed souls is somewhat trying, and - much to the dismay of Sri, who took care of them as kits - they seem to be searching for a way to return to the simpler life of normal foxes, with Dimitri leading the way despite knowing as little about the world outside their forest as Shain.

16. Lori Byrne

Name: Loraine Byrne, "Lori", High Brigadier Loraine Byrne (Originally: Aurora, Rori)
Gender: Female

Age: 26

Universe: The Spirit Marauder, Dungeons and Dragons

The High Brigadier - that is, sans the King himself, the de facto leader - of the Royal Guard, Loraine is infinitely calm, devastatingly intelligent, and absolutely brutal in both politics and battle; she takes great pride in her position, but far greater pride in her honor as a warrior, her weapons of choice balanced between the rapier and whip.  She takes no nonsense, allows no insubordination, and tolerates no disrespect - to her OR her crew.  She speaks very little, able to get a message across without much more than a glance and a gesture, and she prefers it this way, as she has little patience or care for idle chit-chat.  Fortunately for her, while she was arranged to marry quite the talkative one, Elan knows better than to waste her time with casual banter, and keeps her well-entertained and informed with a consistent stream of important details.  In return, she casts a blind eye over his smuggling organization, glad to see it as nothing more than a legitimate business venture for the sake of keeping him by her side.  As Lori has never revealed to the public either her familial connections nor her reverted animal form, it is unclear exactly what kind of bird spirit she is.  Most seem to agree, however, that she is either a seagull, white tern, or dove spirit, with either seagull or white tern being more likely given her preferred placement in coastal and naval troops.

Her personality seems to suggest a water affinity, and by all accounts, this would be true.  This is only due to her close bond with Elan, however, the couple incredibly rare in that they are capable of sharing their very own affinities with each other.  Without the influence of Elan's affinity, Lori's true element is fire.

I didn't get to use her much for Dungeons and Dragons; just a practice run for a kind of homebrew system, if I recall correctly.  She was much more talkative in that iteration, and extremely sarcastic.  She's still a little sarcastic, but nowhere NEAR to the degree at which she started out.  She was also much younger, and was still definitely a bird person, since I was very clear in describing her back then as having a lot of downy fuzz.  If I recall, she was genetically engineered, and joined a squad of bounty hunters, or something to that effect, who all had their own genetic enhancements.  They were designated as Company 13, but it always got misread as Company B (or...maybe it was the other way around?).  Her name was originally Aurora, too, which I actually forgot when including her into The Spirit Marauder, and I couldn't very well have TWO Auroras in that story.  Definitely couldn't change Aurora Pryce's name, either, since she'd had the name first.  It worked out in the end, though - Loraine suits this character much better, anyway.

17. Elan Byrne

Name: Elan Byrne, The Wayman
Gender: Male

Age: 31

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

A raven spirit who founded and leads a smuggling ring known simply as The Ravens, and who has an ongoing - albeit surprisingly peaceful - rivalry with Kester for territory.  He's known for his temper and seemingly unceasing anger, and is cynical and jaded about the world around him, though he's also very much a romantic - the arranged marriage his family set up between himself and his bride, Lori, proves that well enough for how much he fawns over her.  While Lori has no shortage of intelligence herself, Elan serves mainly as the brain to her brawn, the tactician to her warrior, glad to do whatever he can if only to satisfy her, even if it comes to joining in the fighting himself.  While intimidating enough, he prefers battles of wit than to those of the sword, and opts to attack long-range; he's one of the few inhabitants of Etherem to use pistols, and one of even fewer to have any skill with them.

Given his personality, most would expect his elemental affinity to be fire, and in a way, it technically is.  However, this is only because of his close bond with Lori, the couple incredibly rare in that they are capable of sharing their very own affinities with each other.  Without the influence of Lori's affinity, Elan's true element is water, and his occasional use of Lunar spellcasting showcases this.

Age: Many thousands of years, supposedly

Will write up blurb at a later date which is not today!  :D

19. Chander

Name: Chander, Dastiel, God of the Sun, "The Great Warrior"
Gender: Male

Age: Approximately 5 billion

Universe: The Spirit Marauder, Dungeons and Dragons

Blurb will come at a time that is not now~ *w*

I will say, however, that his name came about while I was rolling up Kuni to play Dungeons and Dragons, and wanted to name her fire snake 'Charmander' because I am an asshole to my DMs, apparently.  Tim vetoed the name choice, obviously, so I continued to be an asshole and simply cropped out some letters.  Thus, 'Chander'.  XD;

20. Ushul

Name: Ushul, Deity of Life, Deity of Order, "The Supreme Deity", "The Holy One", "The High Lord and Lady"
Gender: Neutral (physically: Both)

Age: 1032

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

For being the High Deity of Etherem, and unquestioned leader of the Major Pantheon, Ushul's beginnings were the very definition of humble.  Abandoned in the sands of a Middle-Eastern desert as an infant due to their physical oddities, Ushul was picked up by a roving Islamic tribe, who - despite having saved them - kept them socially ostracized and covered in a burqa, allowing their presence only because the tribe could not accept causing the death of another, even through negligence.  Ushul was not given a name, and was forbidden from removing the burqa even in private, save for when bathing, and having accepted the tribe's belief that they were an abomination so as to better accept their place (or lack thereof), Ushul never even bothered to find out what they looked like, either in body or face.  Eventually, though, that life wore on Ushul, and they ventured out into the desert alone at the start of (as far as they knew) their eighteenth year, intent on discovering if fate had anything better in store for them.

And fate brought them to Coyote.

Curious, impressed, and amused by Ushul, Coyote accompanied them on their travels for a while, the two quickly becoming friends, and it wasn't long before Coyote brought Ushul to the dead husk of Etherem, with the hopes that the two of them together could bring life to it.  And, although it took years, this hope was eventually realized, Ushul's immense aetheric potential quickly propelling them to their rise as a deity, incredibly powerful and effectively immortal, creating and watching over a budding society alongside a number of other deities they had approached and befriended over the years (some with Coyote's help).  Aetheric potential, spellcasting prowess, and diplomacy hardly make up the bulk of Ushul's skills, either; they are also an accomplished martial artist, and have a deft hand in design - which applies not just to designing clothing, but living creatures, as well.

Ushul's personality is a very subtle one, as they learned from a very young age to remain calm and unassuming, infinitely patient and keeping tight control over their emotions, so as to never lash out at another person. While they do slip up now and then, now that they no longer have the societal limitations of humanity to remind them to hold back any occasional irritability, Ushul still remains generally even in temperament - albeit with an almost mean streak of mischievousness, bordering on them being an outright troll, which doubtless came from hanging around Coyote for so long.  They are very difficult to rattle, and much more so now that they are a literal deity, having a keen understanding of the seemingly chaotic workings of the universe and its inhabitants - as far as Ushul is concerned, both are in fact quite orderly, and thus nothing to fear.  Pulling order from what one would see as chaos is one of Ushul's greatest specialties, one which was apparent even to Coyote during their first meeting, and it is a variation of this theme which brought them to choose their name.  One of few concepts of their tribe's religion, which they were allowed to learn of and came to respect, was 'usul al-fiqh', the practice of drawing law with which to govern from the religious beliefs of a society.  Knowing just how monumental of a task that could be, given that beliefs can easily vary even within a single religion, Ushul saw it as an admirable ideal, akin to creating order from chaos, and took a partial corruption of the term as their name.  Coyote is mostly at fault for the corruption, as well, as he mispronounced the first part of the term upon it being mentioning it to him.  Ushul liked it enough to use it anyway, though, meaning their name is also a testament to Ushul's affection for their very first friend.

Being a deity, Ushul has a grand total of three natural elemental affinities - earth, water, and aether - with their initial affinities being aether and water.  Their natural inclination towards the aetheric has them very protective of the life they've created, loyal to the extreme, and - while they have no loyalty to Earth - they will do literally anything to keep Etherem and its inhabitants safe.  It brings into question why the Prophecy of Three ever came into existence in the first place, let alone how its fulfillment might bring about the ends of both Earth and Etherem, especially when one considers Ushul's almost limitless power.

21. Shrealis

Name: Shrealis, Goddess of Chaos, Chaos, Eris, Ex Nihilo, Discordia, Tezcatlipoca, Azathoth, Id, "The Faceless One", "The All-Seeing Eye", "She of a Thousand Eyes", and many many others...
Gender: Female (physically: Interchangeable)

Age: Unknown; apparently many thousands of years

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

Pretty much nothing is truly known about Shrealis, as she almost never makes her presence known without some ulterior motive (said ulterior motive, of course, is always to cause absolute mayhem), and she is more than happy to lie about even the smallest things simply for amusement's sake.  Those who are aware of her carefully avoid her, as she's rude, egotistic, bad-tempered, callous, vicious, and tends to threaten people with dismemberment like it's some sort of game to her.  As far as anyone can tell, everything is a game to her, from actual games to toying with the lives of mortals, and very little of what she does seems to make any sense whatsoever because of it.  Few know her true name, and even fewer will dare to speak it, as simply being mentioned seems to draw her attention - most who know of her, even much of the Pantheon, typically refer to her only as 'Coyote's Mother', unwilling to invite personified chaos into their midst.  Naturally, her makeshift family - consisting of Coyote, Jett, and Kerik - makes up the majority of those who will call her by name, with the High Deity Ushul being an odd inclusion, as well; it seems as though Ushul and Shrealis go back quite a ways, as they have a strange sort of cordially respectful disdain for each other.

Shrealis has three natural elemental affinities, much as Ushul does, those being water, earth, and aether, though her true and most powerful element - water - is highly unstable, and thus incredibly dangerous.  Fortunately, she doesn't often use it, as spellcasting leaves her drained and weak.

22. Kuni Sundancer

Name: Kuni Sundancer (originally: Taiyou... u_u), Sprite of Sunlight, Sprite of Friendship
Gender: Female

Age: ??? (appears 14)/around 300

Universe: A/Kitsun/A, Dungeons and Dragons, The Spirit Marauder

Originally started out as a sun goddess/spirit of sorts, with a twin sister who was goddess/spirit of the moon.  And because I was super weeaboo at the time, naturally their names were Taiyou and Tsuki, respectively.  It took several years before I recalled that she existed, when I was redesigning numerous characters on lined paper while I was supposed to be working, and I quickly decided to rename her as well.  I settled on Kuni, which is the Hawaiian equivalent to the name Sunny.

I decided she would have some role in The Spirit Marauder later on, and shortly after that I played her for a few sessions in Dungeons and Dragons, where she was an aasimar summoner, her companion being a fire snake named Chander.  Chander was relegated to being her father (and the sun god) in The Spirit Marauder, which also means that in that particular universe, Kuni assumes a humanoid form merely for convenience, as her natural form is rather large and tends to set things on fire.  In both iterations, she is energetic, friendly, and quirky, opting to see things her own way even if it doesn't necessarily make sense to others.  Even so, this tends to help more than hurt most of the time, as her friendly behavior makes others more likely to go along with whatever it is she wants to do.

In the Spirit Marauder, while she is technically a minor deity (acting as the Sprite of Sunlight and Friendship), she spends most of her time with her twin-with-another-father, Kerik Moonstreader, alternately causing mischief and running an admittedly silly little bar called 'The Sunny Dame', located in the capital city of Atlitius.  While Kerik acts as bartender and entertainer, Kuni serves as both waitress and bouncer, though they have few qualms with switching things up every now and again, and no qualms whatsoever with bringing their tricky ways into their business just for fun.

Kuni's elemental affinity is fire, though much as her development and birth was shared with Kerik, the twins also share their affinities with each other, so she technically has a water affinity as well.  While the two have the same mother - Aledia, goddess of the skies - they have two separate fathers, their conception and birth humorously akin to the stories of the Greek pantheon on Earth, which was likely the intention of Kerik's father, Coyote.  The twins were not carried by Aledia physically, as they would have torn her body apart (not that it would have been able to actually kill her), but rather in a dimensional subspace where they could develop safely.  Their conception, growth, and birth were all handled with great care by most of the Major Pantheon, who were more than happy to make the laws of biology look like mere suggestions, simply for the sake of a friend who wanted to be a mother.  Kuni, of course, is Aledia's favorite, being the less troublesome of the two, but Kuni makes sure to give her twin more than enough attention to make up for it.

23. Qui'lin Zhang

Name: Qui'lin Zhang (currently assumed name; name changes every 1,500 years), Child, "Child of the Aether"
Gender: Female

Age: Somewhere around 15 billion

Universe: The Spirit Marauder

Created by an unknown deity at the beginning of the universe to ensure certain events would occur over the passing eras, Qui'lin has assumed thousands of appearances, ages, names, identities, and lives for the sake of her appointed duties.  She takes great pride in her work, and enjoys the many roles she takes on.  Her true form is 'reborn' every 1,500 years, going through cycles of life and death much like a phoenix.  With each incarnation, she will take on a new name indicative of the location and time period in which she was 'reborn', honoring it in her own way.  She has no true name, but will always respond to 'Child' regardless of the circumstances.  She is currently living on Etherem, working in tandem with its pantheon and the various elemental deities, taking on the role of "Child of the Aether", and she often acts as an adviser for the High Deity, Ushul.

As I haven't yet had the chance to write for her, I'm uncertain what her exact personality is.  Patience and loyalty, however, are her two greatest virtues.

Qui'lin was originally created for a game concept, in which the player would guide her through five different time periods, with different ages and powers in each, with the aim of retrieving the pieces of her shattered soul.  I never really figured out how exactly she survived her soul being broken apart in the first place, but I'm going to assume she still had enough left in her to move around and use magic.  (SHRUG!)

29. Jet Williams

(Design for Jet Williamz in the 21st Century universe only.)

Name: Jet Williams, Jet Williamz, Jett, God of Death, "The Demon God" (and an immense variety of personal aliases which I shalt not list here)

Gender: Male
Age: ??? (appears 18)
Universe: Jet Williamz in the 21st Century, The Spirit Marauder

A wily prankster and uber-powerful psychic who just so happens to have the ability to generate enough energy to jump through time and space at will.  He was created in a laboratory by a Krylochan scientist and their abducted Terran partner, and he was intended to be the ultimate living weapon against the Terrans, with whom the Krylochans had been at war for centuries.  The cross of genetics between the two species left him with the psionics of the Krylochan race, his potential power unlimited by the normal constraints of the species, but he was also left with the emotional drive and free-spiritedness of the Terrans, and despite the best efforts of his 'parents' to contain him and groom him for battle, the stress of all their expectations eventually led him to escape into an alternate timeline.  Freed from responsibility, he instantly began making a mess of things - over the course of this new history, he would insert himself into unfolding events in some way, each time under a different alias, before jumping forward in time and repeating the process, all of it seemingly just for fun.

This all winds up with him meeting a young woman, Katie Jones, a history buff who has noticed his many appearances in history and figured out a pattern in them - part of Jet's game is to leave clues for his 'parents', on the off chance they'll try to recover him somehow.  Finding it impressive that anyone could puzzle out his cleverness, he strikes up an odd relationship with the woman, opting to stay awhile in the 21st century to see what a 'normal life' can offer him.

Self-confident (nearly to the point of arrogance) despite his admitted quirkiness, Jet is almost always cheery and joking non-stop.  Beneath his apparent ease in social situations, though, is severe paranoia and unwillingness to put much - if any - trust in others, expecting they'll want to use his power for their own gain (as has been done before).  His upbringing has left him extremely fragile emotionally, to the point of being nearly childlike, and he's very easily stressed when things aren't going his way.  Not helping matters is that the gradual build-up of his psionic energy is amplified by stress, in turn stressing him out MORE, which can lead to psychic 'explosions' that have enough power to level a city, unless he expends the energy in some other way beforehand.  Until coming to the 21st century, he would expend it with his pranking and jumps through time.

His Spirit Marauder iteration is, in effect, the same person.  However, due to one important choice made in one universe that he did NOT make in another, Jet's path either ends in happiness (21st Century 'verse) or never-ending despair (Spirit Marauder 'verse).  In his main storyline, he chooses to stay with Katie Jones indefinitely, and things work themselves out.  In The Spirit Marauder timeline, he at some point either leaves her behind, or never humors her to begin with, and eventually comes across Etherem in his travels.  His powers attract the attention of Shrealis, the goddess of chaos, who lures him into a trap and overwhelms him, wiping his memory to replace it with little more than 'You have just been reborn, Jett - You are my son', tainting him with her own powers in the process.  Jett's capabilities remain otherwise untouched, though the stress leaves him unable to control them, leading to quite a bit of misfortune and lost lives - earning him the titles of 'God of Death' and 'The Demon God' - before the High Deity Ushul steps in to help him rein in his power.

He is still - as of The Spirit Marauder's beginning - unable to use his psionics to the effect he would have before Shrealis' interference, though he is by no means stranded on Etherem.  Unlike the other deities of the pantheon, he came to the world through technology, rather than magic, and Shrealis - in a surprising lapse of irrationality - left his knowledge of his machines intact.  Despite his ability to leave, however, his tentative friendship with his 'brother', Coyote, as well as Ushul, keeps him where he is, as they help to keep him mostly stable, and thus harmless.  The technology he carries leaves Jett to stand out rather oddly from the other deities, though - at least to the inhabitants of Etherem - serving to make his place as the God of Death rather more mysterious and unsettling.

Though he chooses to remain on Etherem as a member of the Greater Pantheon, carrying out Shrealis' whims alongside Coyote and Kerik (his 'nephew'), some small part of him insists that he's forgotten someone very important to him.  This insistence has eaten away at his former quirky persona, leaving him withdrawn and bitter, his typical behavior much akin to a sulking child.

32. Lindsay Callahan

Name: Lindsay Callahan/Linsay Calhan
Gender: Female

Age: 25/8 sweeps

Universe: Bleached Canvas, Homestuck

A struggling artist and unexpected savior to a dimension she wasn't even aware existed, Lindsay is insecure and painfully awkward.  She has a fascination with the strange and new, but also has terrible coping mechanisms for the strange and new that's outside her comfort zone.  She has few friends, and seems to have no immediate family, relying only on herself to keep up with living costs, which are growing steadily larger and more difficult for her to handle, however hard she tries.  And, if nothing else, she certainly tries hard in every task she undertakes.  Despite her interest in oddities, she tends to be rather stubbornly stuck in her ways, and is easily frustrated when those ways don't help her to move forward in life.  Before her story truly begins, much of this frustration is centered around her inability to get her art displayed in any shows or galleries, and from there on an up-and-coming artist named Klaus Koenig.  Having met him in person, due to her position as part-time receptionist at the hospital in which he stays, Lindsay firmly believes that he has no talent whatsoever, and that the attention he's been getting is only because he has connections, and that people feel sorry for him because of his mental shortcomings.  Thanks to her excessive frustration over her own misfortune, she fails to realize precisely how offensive that belief is, and will definitely be appropriately ashamed of herself if and/or when she gets her life into some semblance of order.  (This isn't to say, however, that she'll stop thinking Klaus is an enormous asshole, because, let's face it, he totally is.)

As far as art goes, Lindsay prefers both impressionism and fauvism to look at, occasionally opting to use the latter in her own work, though her style generally tends toward abstraction and surrealism.

Info for her Homestuck iteration is here!

33. Atrephi

Name: Atrephi, "The Wastelock"
Gender: Male (physically: None)

Age: Around 18/7 months

Universe: Bleached Canvas, Dungeons and Dragons

A wandering powerhouse and unwitting political scapegoat, Atrephi's personality is very typical of those of his race - aloof and evasive.  He has a knack for getting himself roped into unwanted responsibility, but also has a knack for either getting himself back out of it or making matters easier for everyone involved.  He makes a point of avoiding contact with society, and distrusts those in high positions of political power, though he doesn't actively rebel against them.  He has a very dry - almost unnoticeable - sense of humor.  His favorite artists are Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger, and Salvador Dali, and while he enjoys surrealist art, he sees cubism as a much more 'realistic' style; much as humans cannot truly comprehend the appearance of his dimension and its inhabitants, the reverse is also true, in that he sees us and our world far differently than we do.  The design given to him is simply how the human mind interprets him when in his own dimension, and how he can choose to appear when in the human world; his true form is basically impossible to describe, let alone put to paper.

Due to exposure to the drug Fah'ruut before birth, Atrephi's limits of power reach far beyond that of others of his kind, and because of this, he was locked away throughout much of his childhood for experimentation.  He spent nearly three years with no company save that of his captors before he was finally joined by two other Mezrennan, Levehla and Fverrlin, both of whom had been born under similar circumstances.  Without his parent (or any knowledgeable Mezrennan) around to teach him how to use and manipulate his energy properly, he was left with no choice but to spend almost a decade in the facility, biding time while he and his two friends puzzled out their own inherent abilities in secret.  While Atrephi was unable to manifest enough power to help his friends escape alongside him, he swore to them that he would return for them once he was strong enough to overcome the organization which had held them all prisoner.  As of yet, he does not consider himself capable of undertaking that challenge.  Not helping him is the fact that, unlike for his friends, the well of power Atrephi gained from his exposure to Fah'ruut also led him to become hopelessly dependent on the drug in order to maintain it - going for too long without renders him weak and unstable.

In an alternate universe, he is part of a race of immortal energy beings, and has only recently been born - as is common for younglings of his species, he did not take well to the idea of immortality at first.  Unlike other younglings, however, he took it upon himself to lash out at nearby mortal races - namely the Krylochans - terrorizing them at random in what was seen by various military factions as an expression of contempt.  "The Wastelock" is the codename given to him by the Krylochan military, derived from a comment he'd made upon a squad attempting (and failing miserably) to take him into custody.

45. Fverrlin

Name: Fverrlin

Gender: None
Age: 16
Universe: Bleached Canvas

Special Tag: 'Designed By...'

One of a handful of Mezrennan born with the ability to go beyond the normal power limits of their race (due to exposure to the drug Fah'ruut before birth), they are held captive for experimentation by an unknown organization, along with Atrephi and Levehla.  While Atrephi was powerful enough to escape, Fverrlin and Levehla had no choice but to remain behind, though unlike Levehla, Fvverlin is not altogether shaken by the ongoing experiments.  They have a great deal of mental strength and patience for their age, and are capable of disconnecting their consciousness from their body - this allows them to take vast amounts of stress and pain with few to no ill effects.  This ability is used to the good of other prisoners, of whom Fverrlin is protective, by opting to be the main subject of tests.

While Atrephi's birth circumstances led to an overwhelming well of power, and Levehla's gave her substantial control over shapeshifting, Fverrlin has an additional skill beyond their controlled dissociation - one that is much more sinister.  While all Mezrennan can filter spectrum energy from an inert colorless state into usable hues, with Fah'ruut-born having this ability magnified, Fverrlin can also do the opposite - negating perfectly good energy into useless static.  However, they cannot yet control this ability - it relies mainly on their state of mind.  (Fortunately, their state of mind is normally stable.)

Fverrlin's initial design was created by Emlan.

46. Celladore

Name: Celladore

Gender: Male (physically: None)
Age: 119
Universe: Bleached Canvas

Special Tag: 'Designed By...'

One of few Mezrennan openly siding with the Council's decision of involving humans in the matters of their world, Celladore works directly beneath Saris, communicating with him mainly through Grand Chancellor Milanda, from whom he also takes orders.  He deals mainly in trying to keep rebel factions in line.  As I haven't gotten to any point of the story involving him, I have yet to determine his actual personality, though he'll likely differ from others of his kind in that he's not altogether laid back or willing to shirk/avoid responsibilities.

Celladore's initial design was created by Tim.

47. Levehla

Name: Levehla

Gender: Female (physically: None)
Age: 16
Universe: Bleached Canvas

One of a handful of Mezrennan born with the ability to go beyond the normal power limits of their race (due to exposure to the drug Fah'ruut before birth), she is held captive for experimentation by an unknown organization, along with Atrephi and Fverrlin.  While Atrephi was powerful enough to escape, Fverrlin and Levehla were forced to remain behind, and unlike Fverrlin, Levehla did not have the mental strength to hold up to the experiments.  Her instability leads her to behave much like a child, closing herself off from all but her fellow prisoners, whom she heavily depends on.  She mainly latches on to Fverrlin for much needed support, and idolizes Atrephi with a sort of awed wonder that non-Mezrennan might believe to be a crush.  It actually BEING a crush is very possible, as she also seems to believe that she is human - before her mental fracture, she knew well how important humans were to their world, and that fact seems to have stuck with her in some way.

Amusingly enough, Levehla only came about due to a conversation in which my friends and I joked about what might happen if our stories became popular enough to have fanbases, and the Mary-Sues that would pop up as a result.  In the end, I chose to sketch up a 'Mary-Sue' for Bleached Canvas, making a super-cutesy and feminine Mezrennan (a race which has no physical gender characteristics) with pink eyes (exceptionally rare), a number of heart markings (rather unlikely), and frills arranged and shaped to resemble hair (though only a little of it is shown here).  The only thing I couldn't bring myself to do was give her markings in any other color than red (a literal impossibility for Mezrennan), and - ironically enough - as her race can shapeshift, her cutesy and feminine appearance can be easily explained away through that ability, and attributed to her personal preference.

Her powers of shapeshifting are greatly increased in comparison to others of her kind, due to being Fah'ruut-born.  While other Mezrennan require some degree of concentration to maintain a form, particularly when under duress, it takes Levehla no effort at all, regardless of circumstances.  She is still held to the normal constraints of being unable to shift into a form too radically different from that of her base, however, and whatever form she takes is also still bound by the amount of energy she has stored up.

48. Saris

Name: Saris, "The Torrent"

Gender: Male
Age: 55
Universe: Bleached Canvas

Gruff, irritable, and generally tough to work with, Saris appears to be little more than a semi-new janitor at the Chamber of Councilors and its surrounding facilities, and a janitor who is not altogether fantastic at his job, given that he leaves puddles all over the place (bad mopping jobs aside, Piloans tend to leak when over-hydrated).  As it turns out, however, he's one of the most skilled secret agents alive, and at Grand Chancellor Milanda's request, he has been keeping an eye out for any and all information that could help to resolve the situation the Canvas has been plunged into.

Saris originally came about as a joke, in which my friend Tim stated that, since Piloans tend to have names loosely based on water (Milanda = miranda, Wevina = wave), I should have one to reference torrents, with the use of the word being two-fold (water torrents, and data-sharing torrents).  I ended up using "The Torrent" as his codename, while his actual name is a corruption of 'source', which is also used two-fold (water source, torrent source).  It's...it's pretty silly, but I like it anyway.  XD;

49. Vxxethasylcb

Name: Vxxethasylcb, "Vxxeth"

Gender: Male
Age: ???
Universe: Bleached Canvas, Fall to Ruin

Created as an antagonist for Fall to Ruin, Vxxethasylcb - and most others of his kind - became less of a threat and more of a mild amusement, as aside from the Hive Mothers, his race is fond of fun and amusement, and are willing to let things like duty and grudges go quite easily in the face of comedy.  That isn't to say, though, that they aren't still dangerous - as funny as they find jokes, they also find squashing roadblocks (living or otherwise) to be just as hilarious, and Vxxeth is no exception.

As I've only used him in a few bits of writing, Vxxeth doesn't have much of a distinguished personality yet - mostly, he's laid back, and helpful in his own vague and roundabout ways, but when it comes to business, he makes use of his intimidating looks and bulk to the fullest.  Even so, he doesn't take his duties altogether seriously, following through mostly to avoid being scolded, but he is still more than good enough at what he does to keep out of trouble.  He's much the same in Bleached Canvas as he is in Fall to Ruin, though his race is less of the aliens from outer space kind, and instead more of interdimensional semi-demi-gods type, of which he is - again, aside from the Hive Mothers - one of the most esteemed and powerful.

I still have yet to decide if I'm going to keep 'Krakemeth' as the name for their race...  :\

50. Min of Kapriarin

Name: Min "Coralsong" of Clan Kapriarin, Min of Kapriarin, "Min", Lin Ethergold

Gender: Female
Age: 16/13
Universe: Cosmic Castaways, Bleached Canvas

Headstrong and rash, but quite friendly - Min prefers situations to be all sunshine and rainbows, often going to maddening lengths to make light out of something terrible.  Despite the fact that her constant bubbly cheer may indicate the truthfulness of 'ignorance is bliss', she can be rather clever when she has to be.  However, this cleverness extends only to logical problem solving, rather than social dilemmas, as she's so used to being around friends, family, and allies that she's easily deceived and manipulated.

In Cosmic Castaways, Lin traveled the universe researching a variety of different planets, following in her parents' footsteps.  She was also searching for a close friend, Chloe Anderson, who would often show up at random times throughout the years seemingly just to help out with research - oddly around the times major heists were pulled off by some unknown criminal.  Lin, of course, was always too busy to think about things like this.

Bleached Canvas' Min is somewhat more reserved in the exuberance department, but no less friendly or easily manipulated.  Despite her young age, she has impressive strength and skill in battle, and she often serves as a bodyguard to whoever is willing to pay, as her tribe - Kapriarin - has fallen upon hard times.

51. Iana Medina

Name: Iana Medina

Gender: Female
Age: 27
Universe: Cosmic Castaways, Bleached Canvas

Extremely proud, vain, self-confident, and domineering, but generally friendly and supportive about things so long as she's in charge.  Those who resist her control are put to the test with her temper and overwhelming drive to make the offender uncomfortable, right up until the point where they finally submit to her will, after which it will be as though all is forgotten.  She's quick-tempered as a whole, but is just as quick to forgive, and has a sharp wit and cunning that comes of her less-than-legal line of work.

Iana came about basically out of nowhere for Cosmic Castaways, with her own semi-complicated backstory involving Estalys and the Lazulites (a race of sentient crystals which can control and communicate through robotic technology).  She controlled a large smuggling operation, which was covered up by a legitimate jewelry business that specialized in inert Lazulite crystal, and seemed to be trying to gain the cooperation of the Krylochan military for unknown reasons, which I will now just write out here.  The planetside colony on which she lived had been well-maintained by robots, and as the colony expanded and dug out new mines in search of metals, strange crystal formations were eventually discovered growing amongst the ore veins - soon after, the robots began malfunctioning and lashing out, seeming at first to be trying to oust the Terrans, then growing more and more violent as they were met with resistance.  With the seemingly parasitic crystals spreading at an alarming rate, and all technology capable of being compromised, many of the colonists fled to an orbital base, hoping to seek out a way of reclaiming their home.  Iana, amongst a number of others, went out into the universe in search of assistance, bringing with her a sample of their troubles - Estalys, contained in a shatterproof glass cage for observation and study.  While she understands that the crystals can only spread to metals, she has yet to realize that Estalys is one of quite a few Lazulites who aren't looking to fight.

Her inclusion in Bleached Canvas was equally out of the blue, but convenient and necessary.  She is co-owner of the Lazuli Corporation with her partner/lover, Chloe Anderson, and she follows an odd religion involving things like 'Life Givers' and 'The Rift Beyond', among other notions no one else besides Chloe really gets.  It seems harmless enough, though, so everyone just winds up humoring her.

52. Chloe Anderson

Name: Chloe Anderson

Gender: Female
Age: 23
Universe: Cosmic Castaways, Bleached Canvas

Special Tag: 'Designed by...'

Chloe came to be when Tim sketched up some examples of Terrans for the Cosmic Castaways roleplay board, and I immediately latched on to one of the designs, making a full-fledged character of her when I got the okay.  She instantly turned into a sassy and self-absorbed misandrist who cares only about making money, drinking booze, hating men, seducing other women into hating men along with her, seducing other women in general, and basically being an all-around pain in the ass.  Particularly if she's being a pain in the ass for law-enforcement in the case of her Cosmic Castaways iteration - she's a space pirate through and through, and despite her hatred of men, she will still admit that she got her start because of the infamous (male) pirate, Space Devil.  She hopes to one day grow even more infamous than him - as far as she's concerned, a woman would be able to do the job better, anyway.

In Bleached Canvas, she is Lindsay's estranged half-sister, and co-owner of an enormous corporation with her partner/lover, Iana Medina.  She seems to have her hands in a lot of different businesses, from jewelry stores to military science, but despite her long reach, she seems to be harmless.  If vastly obnoxious.

53. Markine [1.1079-4.20]

(Design for Bleached Canvas universe only.  Though, to be fair, her design doesn't differ much between universes.)

Name: Markine, Marcy, Serial 1.1079-4.20

Gender: None (referred to as female)
Age: 4/19/7,495
Universe: Cosmic Castaways, Bleached Canvas, Dungeons and Dragons, Jet Williamz in the 21st Century

Markine's personality remains static between each universe - logical, no-nonsense, imperious, loyal, merciless, and unwilling to accept anything outside her programmed parameters and orders.  One might argue that she has no free will, but this is not the case - she chooses to behave as she does, and would willingly die for her nation.

In Cosmic Castaways, this extreme behavior is mostly due to Klaus' coddling of her - she adores him to no end, and will do whatever it takes to keep him content.  And, given that he wants the Krylochan military to stand above all else just as much as she does, she's more than happy to carry out his orders, whether it be to quash rebellion, or to obliterate potential rivals.

For Bleached Canvas, there's little that can be said of her that won't spoil important plot points, but she's basically been hired by an unknown beneficiary to safeguard Klaus.  She takes the job very seriously, perhaps too much so - it seems that, regardless of which universe they're both in, Klaus still somehow manages to worm his way into her metal heart.

Markine's loyalty to the Krylochan military remains unchanged in both Dungeons and Dragons and Jet Williamz in the 21st Century, though she has been around for far longer, long enough to where she's become a walking legend, her uncaring brutality mixed with her cute appearance leading to the Krylochan phrase of 'A playdate with Marcy', which essentially means 'to die' or - more simply - 'death' (generally through execution).  Regardless of how long she's been around, she still without fail answers to the Kaiser of the time, though if their doctrine deviates too far from the norm, she tends to get a little uppity, to the point where they'll end up abruptly changing their ways to fit her standards.  It tends to make other races wonder if the Krylochans are in control, or if she's the one truly running the show.  Regardless, she clearly has the Krylochans' best interests in mind.  While she gets along well with the current Kaiser, Tajim, she supposedly still visits the medical wards on occasion, where the previous Kaiser, Klaus, has been relegated, his mental faculties shredded in a battle against enemy forces.

Another trait shared between her iterations is her reaction towards comedy - she understands humor, in the sense that she can differentiate between what is and isn't a joke, and yet she will always and without fail react to it as though it is meant seriously.  It tends to make people avoid cracking jokes around her, which may actually be her intention.

54. Klaus Koenig

(Design for Bleached Canvas universe only.)

Name: Klaus Koenig

Gender: Male
Age: 45
Universe: Cosmic Castaways, Bleached Canvas

Much the same in personality for either iteration, Klaus is irritable and outspoken, awfully racist, self-confident to the point of arrogance, prone to raging and bossing people around, and all the while being hopelessly dependent on what looks to be a little girl.  He's also severely mentally disabled, bordering on psychotic, though this hardly seems to dissuade him from living his life as he sees fit, and to the fullest extent he possibly can.  He refuses to take pity or sympathy from others for his disabilities, demanding he be treated like anyone else, which most would say probably has something to do with his over-the-top awful behavior.  This is far from being the case, however - he really is just a raging asshole.

In Cosmic Castaways, his mental handicaps were due to being naturally born (in a race which reproduces almost solely through cloning), though he could exercise enough control over his outbursts and lapses in judgment to actually become the Kaiser of the entire Krylochan military.  Most agree that it was his purchase of the android Markine which allowed him to get as far as he did, though they will NEVER say so aloud - doing so would be to invite disaster upon themselves.

In Bleached Canvas, he's a patient in the mental ward of a hospital Lindsay works at part-time as receptionist.  He is a source of extreme ire for Lindsay, in that he somehow manages to get his paintings on display at local shows and galleries despite having what she sees as no discernible talent, convincing her that they only accept the paintings because they feel bad for him, and because he has connections in the form of his old caretaker.  Lately, his caretaker has been a strange young girl who doesn't actually work for the hospital, though as of yet, few seem to find this odd or even questionable.

55. Elita Ivory

(Design for the Cosmic Castaways, D&D, and Jet Williamz universes only.)

Name: Elita Ivory

Gender: Female/Female (physically: Mono-sex)
Age: 30/164/2
Universe: Cosmic Castaways, Tales of Hope and Mystery, Dungeons and Dragons, Jet Williamz in the 21st Century, Pokemon

In all instances of Elita's character, she is cynical, sarcastic, biting, and generally unpleasant to be around for the time necessary for her to lighten up.  Once she lightens up, she remains cynical and sarcastic, but to a much less sincere degree, and though she won't admit it to anyone EVER, she holds a great deal of concern and care for the people who are actually willing to tolerate her, and will sacrifice a lot for their safety and comfort.  ...Unless they're Tajim.  She hates his guts no matter WHAT universe they're both in.

For Cosmic Castaways, Elita was a bitter and jaded ex-member of the Space Police Force, having been dishonorably discharged for a crime she didn't commit.  Being Krylochan, a race which is well-known for their individuals holding life-long grudges, she spent the next few years of her life first trying to find who'd committed the crime, then dedicating as much of her time and resources as possible to tracking the criminal down.  It's made somewhat more complicated by the fact that she works as a secretary for Tajim Wexler, and has to deal with his ridiculous bullshit on the side, as well as the fact that the universe just seems to be set against her ever bringing Space Devil to justice so she can be reinstated into law enforcement.

In Tales of Hope and Mystery, she's the single mother of Tajim, who remains the sole bane of her existence.  She works as a cook at Hope and Mystery's school, and is friends with Hope's parents (though to a greater degree with Dan than Zip, as they share a number of interests).

My playing her in Dungeons and Dragons doesn't much change her role - though it did cause an overhaul to the basic design of Krylochans.  Krylochans are now a single-gendered species, a scattered number of them having psionic capabilities (though Elita is not one of that number), though they remain militarily inclined and are still well-known for holding grudges, as well as being generally imperious and being somewhat disinterested (and mildly confused) as to what 'entertainment' and 'fun' entails.  Elita IS rare among Krylochans, however, in that she refers to herself by a gendered pronoun - it seems she spent a decent amount of time in her youth amongst bi-gendered species, found the notion of genders quaint or adorable, and felt she fit the basic mold of 'female'.  She also has a soft spot for more primitive races, both of her party members having hailed from a medieval society before they were rescued (by her) from certain genocide.  However - like any respectable Krylochan - she still despises any and all incarnations of humans she comes across.

Unlike in Cosmic Castaways, in both D&D and Jet Williamz in the 21st Century, she was never discharged from law enforcement, though in this universe, she works directly for the military instead, and reports directly to the Kaiser, Tajim, who still manages to make her life miserable on a multitude of levels.  Her D&D party - consisting of an elf girl named Dodie, and Oni Kenzo, an elf turned Saiyan (don't ask) - also helps to whittle away at her sanity, as all together they've accidentally been the cause of at least two apocalypses.

In Pokemon, she plays the part of Terri's Purugly, and is exactly the same in personality and behavior.

56. Tajim Wexler

(Design for the Cosmic Castaways and D&D universes only.)

Name: Tajim Wexler, Tajim Ivory, Alderich Rosenthal, Tajjim Wexler

Gender: Male/Mono-sex
Age: 26/11/141/8 sweeps
Universe: Cosmic Castaways, Tales of Hope and Mystery, Dungeons and Dragons, Jet Williamz in the 21st Century, Homestuck

Much like Elita, Tajim is unchanging in personality no matter where he is, the only difference being in the energy he puts into what he does.  He's outwardly friendly and charming until he's either got the other person where he wants them, or they figure him out for who he really is - which is, a sneaky and manipulative power-hungry asshat who finds the greatest amusement in toying with people's lives and feelings.

In Cosmic Castaways, Tajim is a simple diplomat who once seemed set for the position of Kaiser - now he's just kind of floundering and trying to gain back his former glory.  He spends most of his time either scheming or making other people feel miserable - or at least slightly miserable.

In Tales of Hope and Mystery, he's still at the very beginning stages of planning out his empire, and has to settle for bullying kids smaller than him, all while setting up his candy-smuggling ring and trying to sneak cool bugs into his house for his mom to find (inevitably by stepping on them).  He's a huge Star Wars fan, and seems to believe he's a Sith Lord.  Unlike his Cosmic Castaways and Homestuck iterations, given that he's still just a kid, he's still figuring out how to properly mask his intentions, and how to properly manipulate people to his whims.  At the very least, though, he's got a lot more energy to put into his schemes than his other versions.

Both Dungeons and Dragons and Jet Williamz in the 21st Century gives Tajim a huge break, as they're already Kaiser and - on top of that - are a highly skilled psionic.  They - unlike Elita - also don't deal with such petty things as 'gendered pronouns', because that shit's for primitive scum-suckers who wouldn't know proper reproduction if it smacked them in the face with their own sex organs.  In both of these universes, they don't even bother with acting friendly most of the time, only doing so when they feel like it - which is rarely.  Mostly they're just an outright jerk.  In order to avoid being swamped in public, Tajim has an alternate identity, using his skill in espionage to disguise himself as Alderich Rosenthal, who - to Krylochans - is CLEARLY a completely different person given the change in hair and eye color (not to mention the extreme difference in markings), but to the few of other races who might see the two compared, the ruse is rather obvious.  But, that's cultural dissonance for you.

His Homestuck iteration has already been written about here.

57. Annita Alassea

Name: Annita Alassea, "Anny"

Gender: Female/Female (physically: Mono-sex)
Age: 18
Universe: Cosmic Castaways, Dungeons and Dragons

Designed off the top of my head to use as a support character for battles in Cosmic Castaways, though she never ended up getting involved in any as far as I recall.  Mostly she just ended up being adorable along with one of Tim's characters.

Her old bio is still up HERE.  Much like Maxwell below, I don't intend on using her in the future for anything more than a cameo or for old times' sake, so she won't be retooled.

EDIT:  I lied!  I ended up using her in my current Dungeons and Dragons campaign, alongside Elita, Tajim, and Markine.  There's literally no change to her personality, though.  The only things that changed is that she has some mild degree of telekinetic powers, and also she no longer has a vagina.  She DOES refer to herself as though she does, however, because she's a weird Krylochan who was adopted and raised offworld in a bi-gendered civilization.

58. Maxwell Douglas

Name: Maxwell Douglas

Gender: Male
Age: 36
Universe: Cosmic Castaways, Jet Williamz in the 21st Century

A detective character I made up off the top of my head for roleplaying, though I didn't end up using him very much.  He tended to be kind of long-winded, and used unnecessarily large or obscure words, so he was sort of exhausting to write for.  This is my own fault entirely, of course, as I mostly designed him due to reading the TV Tropes article for Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness, because I found it hilarious and wanted a character that embodied the trope.  Also, his name is an obvious homage to Douglas Adams; though I had seen the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie and some of the old BBC episodes well before Cosmic Castaways came about, I had been reading the books at around the time of Maxwell's creation.

I don't intend to use him in the future, at least not for anything more than a small cameo, so aside from his appearance and age, nothing about him will be retooled.  For further information about him, his old bio page can be found HERE.

EDIT:  I found a place for him - Jet Williamz in the 21st Century.  He's still a detective, of sorts, in that he does investigations for the military, which ends with him getting tied up in mediating between an extremely paranoid war-torn government and an outrageously powerful psychic man-child who can take apart an entire city with just his mind.  It's an exhausting job, but being the pacifist he is - and having a relatively healthy degree of self-preservation - Maxwell knows he's probably the best one suited for it, so he just rolls with it.  He also doesn't talk like a thesaurus on crack anymore, but he DOES tend towards being long-winded and rambley.

59. Joy Marietta

(Design for the Heavenshine universe only.)

Name: Joy Marietta, Veseli Mariet

Gender: Female
Age: 128/9 sweeps
Universes: Heavenshine, Homestuck

Much of the information on Joy has been written up HERE.  In the 'Alternate' story of Heavenshine, she is a young duchess who ran off with her bodyguard, partially for the sake of adventure, but mostly because her father was planning on using her as a sacrifice for an ancient demon.  Said ancient demon has since been destroyed, as Joy's bodyguard came upon a certain magical sword capable of defeating it, but that doesn't exactly fix the family problems, and hence Joy's and Obsidian's adventures together continue.

It's likely that Joy was based off of an older character who was the foil to the dick of a wish-granting devil that Breccan was partially based on.  This older character (stupidly named Hoshi) was a ditzy sweetheart of a wish-granting angel, and while Joy can't exactly grant wishes, she IS a ditzy sweetheart, and she IS most certainly an angel.

For some bizarre reason, probably due to my early days of weeabooism, her natural hair color was originally designated as pink.  Obviously this idea was scrapped, because it makes absolutely no fucking sense.

Her Homestuck iteration is the mustard-blooded Veseli Mariet (), trolltag harmonicAscension.  Her planet is the Land of Light and Angels, and her SGRUB title is the Sylph of Time, and though Time players are typically always Derse dreamers, she is, for some bizarre reason, a Prospit dreamer instead.  Her soulmate, Sidian Lidell, shares a similar oddity in her otherworldly affiliation.  Veseli's personality is no different from the way Joy is naturally in Heavenshine, though due to her tendency to be calming and motherly, she is unfortunately often viewed as somewhat of a pale slut.  She also has great skill in acting as auspistice, though she doesn't care for it.  She normally has to act as a mediator - though not particularly an auspistice - between Sidian and the other four trolls in their session, as Sidian is extremely anti-social, and it was mostly through her efforts that they even managed to complete the chain of players for their game.

60. Obsidian Liddell

(Design for the Heavenshine universe only.)

Name: Obsidian Liddell, Sidian Lidell

Gender: Male (physically: female)
Age: 29/9 sweeps
Universes: Heavenshine, Homestuck

Basically everything on Obsidian has been written up already, and can be found HERE.  In the 'Alternate' story of Heavenshine, he is a well-known dragon slayer, wielding a sword enchanted with the power to destroy - supposedly - all manner of monsters.  He is also the bodyguard of a young duchess named Joy, with whom he shares a strange, awkward relationship that is constantly going back and forth between being romantic and platonic.

Obsidian - or at least his design - originally stemmed from one of several character sketches meant to accompany my Legend of Zelda OC, Dime.  The character sketch in particular, rather than being a scientifically mutated human as Obsidian is, was and always had been a fire salamander anthro, and went by the name of Blaze.  Blaze's personality, however, was wildly different from Obsidian's.

For some reason, when I was younger I drew Obsidian in rather revealing outfits.  Which makes no sense, because he is (and always was) supposed to be very touchy about his skin showing.  Clearly I was retarded in my youth.  :\

For Homestuck, he is the mutant bright-fuchsia-blooded Sidian Lidell ( - borrowed; technically signless), trolltag igneousBlight, who is not far in personality from Obsidian in Heavenshine, being rather more paranoid and wary of others, and even more of a loner.  He takes on the SGRUB title of Page of Space, and his planet is the Land of Sand and Frogs.  Though typically Space players are also Prospit dreamers, Sidian is a Derse dreamer instead; he shares this oddity with his soulmate, Veseli.  The two of them discovered fragments of SGRUB code thanks to Sidian's visions (he has some amount of precognitive abilities) as well as his various exchanges with the Outer Gods, and with some complex social mediating and time shenanigans, Sidian - through Veseli, and from there through Shaele - was able to convince Brecan to help him complete and piece the code together.  After that, again through Veseli, he convinced Shaele to play, and from there convinced three other trolls to join their session, completing the necessary chain of six for their game.  Unlike the rest of his friends/allies, Sidian lives solely on Derse, rarely interacting with anything on Alternia (and certainly never doing so in person).  This is because, despite his various attempts to hide it, Sidian's mutation was discovered long before their session, and he was culled - his dream self lives on thanks to fortunate timing and some quick thinking from Veseli.

61. Benjamin Sullivan

(Design for the Heavenshine universe only.)

Name: Benjamin Sullivan, "Ben", Benjam Sulliv

Gender: Male
Age: 20/9 sweeps
Universes: Heavenshine, Homestuck

Basically all info regarding Ben in Heavenshine has been previously written up HERE.  In the 'Alternate' version of Heavenshine, he is a young prince who has far too much responsibility heaped on his shoulders, as the King and Queen are normally off on 'diplomatic missions' (read: adventures), leaving him to take care of the kingdom in their stead.

Ben, much like Breccan, stemmed from one of two god/demon characters taking up residence in the mind of an old character from A/Kitsun/A; while Breccan was meant as the darker and 'evil' half, Ben took the role of the lighter and 'good' half.  Their designs made this even more obvious.  I've since ditched that concept, and while Ben is still decidedly the better half of the two, he is by no means the perfectly sweet and innocent kid he was originally meant to be.

As far as Homestuck is concerned, Benjam Sulliv () is an average olive-blooded troll who has had the misfortune of getting caught in the machinations of two royal trolls.  To be more specific, he is now more or less a surrogate lusus for the runaway Tyrian heir, Etoile Peixes, who also happens to be his best friend, which later unfortunately leads to him being dragged into an auspistice with her and her bizarre highblood suitor, Brecan Oherty.  He's not really sure what to do about all of the crazy antics and wacky shenanigans he suddenly has to deal with, but he's not really sure he likes the way his life has been going.  He hopes SGRUB will sort everything out.  (It won't.)

His troll persona is basically exactly the same as Ben normally is in Heavenshine, only a tad more inclined towards violence and being socially awkward.  His trolltag is cyclonicScholar, his SGRUB title is Knight of Breath, and he is a Prospit dreamer.  His planet is the Land of Storms and Melody.

62. Shale Aurelia

(Design for the Heavenshine universe only.)

Name: Shale Aurelia, Shaele Aureli

Gender: Female
Age: 23/9 sweeps
Universes: Heavenshine, Homestuck

Basically everything involving Shale and her role in Heavenshine is already written up HERE.  In the 'Alternate' version of Heavenshine, she is the royal mage and mediator between the townspeople and the nomads.  She is also rumored to be the Prince's consort, and though Ben insists otherwise, Shale, upon hearing of the rumor, simply smiled mysteriously.  This did not particularly help in ceasing the rumor's spreading.

It's very likely that she stemmed from a much earlier character: Amaris (originally Tsuki u_u), from A/Kitsun/A.  The oldest drawings of her are very reminiscent of Amaris' design, and before Shale started getting a character overhaul, she was also very similar in personality.  That is, she had very little personality at all.

Semi-related:  One of Elly Sandelwood's Pokemon, a Mismagius, is named after Shale.  Unlike Breccan and Elita, however, who literally have Pokemon versions of themselves, the Mismagius Shale is completely different in personality from the Shale in Heavenshine.

Her Homestuck iteration is the crimson-blooded Shaele Aureli (), trolltag ecstaticaNomadic, whose SGRUB title is Witch of Heart.  Her planet is the Land of Bones and Mist, and she is a Prospit dreamer.  Her personality is similar to Shale's, though she is somewhat more open about her emotions. Thanks to a 'casual' suggestion from Veseli, Shaele was lured into agreeing to play by the thought of great treasures (amongst other things) to be found throughout SGRUB, and, to show her gratitude, also agreed to convince three others to play alongside her.

63. Etoile Sullivan

(Design for the Heavenshine universe only.)

Name: Etoile Sullivan, Etoile Peixes

Gender: Female
Age: 15 - nearly 16/9 sweeps
Universes: Heavenshine, Homestuck

As far as Heavenshine is concerned, pretty much everything for Etoile is written up RIGHT HERE.  In the 'Alternate' version of Heavenshine, she is a young and adventurous princess, who has the misfortune of being captured by a particularly amorous dragon.

Unlike the other main Heavenshine characters, Etoile came about basically out of nowhere.  There are no previously existing characters of mine that she was based off of, or might have stemmed from.  She was, however, the first character I ever made who was an artist, a hobby I had up until then avoided giving to my characters, because for some reason I'm uncomfortable giving my characters similar hobbies to myself (even characters originally based off of me, like Terri and Silver, don't share any particular hobbies with me).

For her Homestuck iteration, she is Etoile Peixes (), a Tyrian-blooded troll who - similar to Meenah (though I'd actually decided on this before Meenah was introduced) - couldn't be assed to deal with any sort of responsibility, and thus made herself scarce.  She also didn't want to have to end up facing off against her ancestor at any point, because, seriously, fuck that.  She took to hiding with her best and oldest friend, Benjam (who later ends up getting roped into being the neutral party of her auspistice with Brecan Oherty).  Only a handful of trolls outside her small circle of friends/allies are aware of her existence, and they're all too terrified of her to let that fact slip to anyone else; unlike her Heavenshine self, Etoile Peixes is extremely violent, and is more than happy to break a few limbs if she isn't getting her way.  Before SGRUB, she keeps her blood color hidden (opting for seadweller purple instead), and - in a stupendously painful procedure - altered the shape of her horns to further distance herself from her ancestor.  She tends to keep them wrapped up, as they are often sensitive.  During SGRUB, she sees no reason to hide her blood color, as her fellow players were already fully aware of it.

Her trolltag is sketchingStarlight, her SGRUB title is Maid of Doom, and she is a Derse dreamer.  Her planet is the Land of Gardens and Canvas.

64. Breccan Docherty

(Design for the Heavenshine universe only.)

Name: Breccan Docherty, "Brec", Brecandocher, Brecan Oherty, Break

Gender: Male
Age: 30/9 sweeps
Universes: Heavenshine, Homestuck, Pokemon

As far as Heavenshine goes, basically everything regarding Breccan is already written up HERE.  In the 'Alternate' version of Heavenshine, he is the particularly amorous dragon (Brecandocher) who makes off with Princess Etoile, and, given that he is a red dragon (which are known as being the most violent breed) but has yet to set fire to the town or even cause any problems beyond royal kidnapping, no one really understands what his deal is.

It's likely he came to be as a combination result of two characters - the first was a little dick of a wish-granting devil named Tsuki (UGH, that NAME, WHY), who had a similar (though far less violent) personality, and the second was Ketsueki (UUUUUGH, THAT NAAAAAME) from A/Kitsun/A.  As far as his relation to Ketsueki went, he shared a similar appearance (facial structure, hairstyle, and body type) as well as personality (though again, Ketsueki was less violent), and - at first - had a sort of yin and yang theme going with Ben, much like the two gods/demons Ketsueki played the part of unwilling host to.

For his Homestuck iteration, much of the information for Brecan Oherty () is, again, already written up, and can be found HERE (aside from his planet, which is the Land of Steel and Chasms).  He has an ongoing and extremely bloody rivalry with Etoile Peixes, and it's obvious that they're black for each other, though it's such a dangerous relationship (for all kinds of reasons) that it warrants an auspistice.  Poor Benjam Sulliv has the bad luck of serving as their mediator, and though he does an impeccable job of it, the only reward he ever really gets is Brecan calling him a cockblocker.  Whatever that is.

As far as the Pokemon universe in concerned, he also plays a small role as Terri's Dusknoir, Break.  Fortunately, while his habits and personality are almost completely the same, his violent tendencies are taken out on opposing Pokemon teams, rather than the people and Pokemon close to him.

65. Caleb Brighton

Name: Caleb Brighton, "Cale"

Gender: Male
Age: 65
Universe: Heavenshine

A generally no-nonsense person with a severe case of OCD, Cale is highly savvy in the ways of the law, and can handle legal nightmares with impressive skill; skill that is necessary, because his top client is quite often in some kind of trouble.  Though he doesn't much care for said client, preferring to relate to him solely on a professional level, Breccan seems to view him as - while not an intellectual equal - a handy outlet to bounce ideas off of, as well as a source of support and something almost but entirely unlike friendship.  Cale also happens to be gay, but that's not really all that important.  :\

Cale originally started out as a very young man with a similarly horrible taste in clothing as Barry and the rest of his gang.  Somehow, though, he quickly morphed into a much older man, with a much more tasteful (if highly bland) sense of fashion.  Honestly, though, I think I just kind of subconsciously wanted his design to scream 'I'M A LAWYER'.

At some point, due to some silly mishaps in the Sims, in which I made a Sim version of Cale, he ended up with an adopted daughter named Gwen.  In the game, a random NPC named Gwen Something-Or-Other kept hanging around Sim!Cale's house, kind of bothering me, so I built a wall around her and left her there until she died.  And for SOME REASON, this made Sim!Cale absolutely miserable.  Thus, I revived her, because I didn't know that doing so would suddenly make her a part of Sim!Cale's family.  It ended up being absolutely hilarious, though, so it was incorporated into Cale's actual backstory, though obviously not in exactly the same way.  Basically, he finds this teenage girl lying half-dead on the road, and when he rescues her and tries to find her family, only to learn that she's an orphan, he figures, 'heck, it must be fate', and decides to take her in himself.  He is the most awkward foster father ever.  But he tries.

66. Alaunvyr Barrindar

Name: Alaunvyr Auvryana, Alaunvyr Barrindar

Gender: Male
Age: 340
Universes: Heavenshine, Dungeons and Dragons

The first-born son to the matron mother of House Auvryana, Alaunvyr is highly skilled with most weapons, and (prior to the annihilation of the house) was the trainer and leader of Auvryana's battle forces.  Being naturally charismatic and clever, he was able to secure a web of allies sufficient enough to net him most (if not all) of what he wanted or needed; the most notable of such things include 1.) the acquisition of his concubine, a smart-mouthed wine delivery girl he'd taken an interest in (see above: Linthel Auvryana), and 2.) his camaraderie with the weapons master of the Barrindar House (a much higher ranking house than that of Auvryana).

Over the course of several decades, the relations between the matron mothers of Houses Auvryana and Barrindar declined terribly, bringing Alaunvyr to side with the stronger force for the coming slaughter; unbeknownst to his family, he was assured a place in the Barrindar House alongside the weapons master he had allied with, provided he would assist in the decimation of his own house.  He warned only his concubine of what was to come, sending her away to the surface with the pretense of saving her life; however, he had simply tired of her near-constant snark, and intended for her to die in either the Underdark or the immense desert that lay at the end of the path he'd sent her on.

Upon the destruction of the Auvryana House, Alaunvyr was adopted into Barrindar, and later went on to become Barrindar's weapons master himself, as the one he had allied with was killed in a totally not-suspicious accident deep in the Underdark.

Personality-wise, Alaunvyr is very self-assured and seemingly polite, constantly speaking in a friendly tone.  However, the friendliness can often mask subtle jibes, and once he has someone right where he wants them (or if he believes he has nothing to fear from them), he will become, more or less, an enormous dick.  He greatly enjoys toying with people, particularly in battle.

In the campaign he was originally a part of, he was played by the DM as more of a serious and cynical character, though while he made things difficult for the player characters, he wasn't as much of a threat as originally intended.  This will be made up for in Heavenshine, as the town in which Ben, Etoile, and Shale live in (and Breccan sort of lives in occasionally) is a major target for Alaunvyr and the rest of his house.

67. Barry Johnson

Name: Barry Johnson

Gender: Male
Age: 33

Universe: Heavenshine

Special Tag: 'Based On...'

An old 'friend' (and possible fling) of Breccan's back in college, Barry lives to sow discord and chaos wherever he can, considering himself a rebel to the nth degree; he even worships the devil to prove it.  He is extremely manipulative, made easier for him by the fact that most people find him charming and fun to be around.  He is a firm believer in saying and doing whatever you want, and also believes that not doing so makes you miserable.  He pushes this belief onto pretty much everyone he meets, though he's subtle and careful about the way he does it, and knows when to back off if it isn't working.

He's made somewhat of a name for himself by way of his band ('Remote Surgery'), in which he sings and plays guitar, and claims partial ownership of the underground bar, The Basement.  He is utterly incapable of dressing in a manner appropriate to his age, and is also flamingly gay.

He is the only topic Breccan is unwilling to talk about and will willingly lie about, as not only is Breccan uncomfortable about the fact that they ever dated, but he is sorely pissed off about the many ways in which Barry manipulated him.  Barry is, arguably, the main reason Breccan is such an asshole, having gotten to him with his 'do and say what you want' lifestyle.

Barry started out as a joke made by a friend of mine, who insisted first that Breccan should have a tattoo somewhere that says 'MOM', and when I told him that he disowned his mother ages ago (and vice versa), he instead insisted that he have a tattoo somewhere that simply read 'BARRY'.  For some reason, everyone - myself included - found this absolutely hilarious, and thus Barry was created.  Though I decided on his personality and backstory pretty early on, he didn't have a proper design until much later.

68. Isis Delacruz

Name: Isis Delacruz

Gender: Female
Age: 34
Universe: Heavenshine

Alongside Barry, Isis was one of Breccan's 'friends' back in college, teaching him a thing or two about the ladies (crushing majorly on him, but utterly failing to actually interest him).  She is peppy, flirty, and has absolutely no fear in any given social situation; she tends to be a bit overbearing with her energy, though, and is too much of a hopeless romantic.  The underground bar, The Basement, is under her ownership, and she spends most of her time there; 'Remote Surgery' (in which she plays the drums) performs there often.  Much like the rest of her fellow band members, she seems to be completely incapable of dressing age-appropriately.

Alongside Matt and Tomo, Isis' whole design was made up off the top of my head for a side story, although unlike the other two, this only accounts for her appearance and personality - she existed previously as a concept, that concept being 'the one person Breccan could never bring himself to go on a date with EVER'.

69. Matt Dimas

Name: Matt Dimas

Gender: Male
Age: 34
Universe: Heavenshine

A friend of Barry's, the lead guitarist in 'Remote Surgery', and - back in college - Breccan's sparring partner.  Matt is brash and unpredictable, not letting anything stand in his way; he just wants to go wild and have a good time, even if it means someone else getting hurt.  He has a terrible temper, and an equally terrible mouth - most would estimate that approximately 35% of his speech consists of vulgarities.  He dresses however the hell he wants, and the only thing that can really speak to him is strength; logic and basic common sense holds no bearing over him.  (Along with the many knocks to the head he's taken, the amount of booze and drugs he's gotten into probably have something to do with that.)

Like Isis and Tomo, his entire design was made up on the spot for a side story.

70. Tomohiro Umemoto

Name: Tomohiro Umemoto, "Tomo"

Gender: Neutral (physically: Male)
Age: 32
Universe: Heavenshine

A friend of Barry's, the bassist and/or synth-player in 'Remote Surgery', and - back in college - Breccan's study partner.  Tomo generally seems to be calm and reserved, a totally false persona they like to put forth solely because of their inherent mischievous nature, and they turn into a party animal the moment booze is so much as mentioned.  Somehow, though, their drinking habits don't seem to have any effect on their studies - they're quite intelligent, being the only person in their clique to have a respectable side-job that wasn't handed down to them.

Out of all of Breccan's old 'friends', Tomo is the only one who has remained in semi-vague almost-contact with him.  The two communicate solely through either Breccan's attorney, Cale, or Cale's adopted daughter, Gwen (whom Tomo tutors), as while they could quite easily run into each other at any time, they are both well aware that actually hanging around each other would probably wind up with Barry and the rest of his gang finding out and getting themselves involved somehow.  This would definitely end very badly, so despite still being on relatively good terms, the two make a point of avoiding any potential meeting.

Like the rest of Barry's gang, Tomo's entire design was made up on a whim for a side story.

71. Casey Blanc

Name: Cassandra Blanc, "Casey"

Gender: Female
Age: 27
Universe: Heavenshine

A deadly serious woman who despises injustice and thrives on dealing in information.  She can bear a mean grudge, and will stop at nothing to do what she deems right.  She is also a friend of one of Breccan's victi- er...ex-girlfriends, and is convinced that he had something to do with her friend's disappearance (which he most certainly did).  As such, she is determined to bring him to justice.  Or just bring him down.  It unclear exactly which sometimes.  (In an interesting turn of events, her main source of information at The Basement, Isis Delacruz, was one of Breccan's 'friends' back in college.)

She is an extremely skilled on a motorbike (though her driving typically winds up with everyone else on the road thinking she's a reckless hooligan), and is quite handy with a rifle.  She is also an avid chess player.

Her original design was somewhat based off of the avatar for Russian singer, Glukoza, and in a joke offshoot story I outlined, she even had a Doberman that she took pretty much everywhere.  She still has a dog, of course, though nowadays it's a German Shepherd (which is named Phideaux XD).

72. Bob Mirick

Name: Bob Mirick
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Universe: PB&J

Bob was originally a silly little character with no backstory or personality with literally only a name to his name, and he existed solely to state disclaimers in my fanfics in semi-amusing ways.  Apparently, though, this was enough to make an online buddy want to make a friend for him named Joe, after which Bob and Joe were introduced to each other in a brief roleplay, and from that point on Bob and Joe were pretty much instantly gay for each other.  It was awesome.

In a somewhat more thought out version of their story of awesome gay romance, Bob works as a radio announcer, and his life was extremely boring until he rescued an adorable cat on his way home.  An adorable cat who turned out to be - SURPRISE! - an adorable cat-boy from another planet.

Being the reasonable and logical person he is, Bob decides to believe that Joe is just an adorably goofy cosplayer, because as of yet he's not sure he's ready to accept that his boyfriend is some kind of cat-alien from outer space without going slightly insane.  Or thinking he's gone slightly insane, which is probably worse.

73. Baron von Smogstrider

Name: Baron von Smogstrider (originally: Smog Strider OR Baron von Smog)

Gender: Male
Age: He's a pony, how the heck should I know 8|;
Universe: My Little Pony; Friendship is Magic

(Warning:  This info summary contains COPY-PASTA.)

A pony that has been brought back from the dead, more specifically from my childhood, because as an 80's/90's child, and a girl child at that, I was practically required to have had My Little Ponies at some point in time. And, in fact, I collected them profusely until somewhere around middle school (when I sold them all for a grand total of twenty dollars). Let it be known, though, that I didn't collect them because I liked the franchise or anything like that. No, I collected them because they were ponies, and at that time I liked to play pretend if it had to do with ponies - most particularly if those ponies just so happened to be killing each other. That's perfectly natural, right?

Unicorns, without fail, were always the villains, and would always be responsible for most of the death and destruction. Why? Because it followed the logic of a six-year-old child-me, and the logic went something like this: unicorns have horns, and horns are sharp - sharp means stabbing, and stabbing means EVIL. Therefore, unicorns are evil.

This specific pony, however, was the most evil of them all. Obviously the child-me wasn't aware that being black and having red eyes to designate evilness was somewhat of a cliche - I'm not even sure child-me was familiar with what a cliche even WAS (I was kind of a shut-in, see). I can't recall his exact name; the only thing that I can remember is that it was something like...'smog, followed by some kind of noun' (as that's just how My Little Pony names work). Recently I settled on the name 'Baron von Smog', thanks to Emily, because, after all, he was supposed to be some kind of vampire...pony (yes, shut up, this was the creation of six-year-old child-me, gawd), and barons are kind of like counts, and counts are pretty much always vampires. At least, I think that's how that works. I'm still pretty sure that his name was originally something along the lines of 'Smog Strider', though.

Anyway, as I was saying, he was the most evil of all the evil ponies (all of which were unicorns), because for some reason he always managed to convince all the good ponies that he wasn't actually evil. He would insist that he just wanted to frolic and have a good time, and it wasn't his fault he was born black (which was obviously the color of evil ponies). The fact that he insisted that at all makes me wonder if child-me wasn't a tad bit racist. (The pony I used wasn't even black, either. I just pretended it was.) Then, once he was accepted into the 'good pony gang' and got invited by the pony queen to some kind of fancy ball at the 'palace' (read: a cardboard box), he would inevitably stab the queen in the neck and blow up the palace, killing half the herd in the process. And nobody ever saw it coming no matter HOW often I played the scene out. Those good ponies must be real stupid.

74. Terri McScience

(Design for the Pokemon universe only.)

Name: Terri McScience (assumed name - actual name: Terri Spencer), Kasmer Sindre
Gender: Male (physically: female)
Age: 17 (assumed age - actually 23), 8 sweeps
Universes: Pokemon, Homestuck
Special Tag: 'Based On...'

A trainer who more or less had Pokemon shoved into her face unwillingly for years (her response to her mother's request that she go out adventuring was, literally, 'Pokemon?  Maaaaan, who GIVES a fuck?') before, at age 15, she finally found a reason to give training a shot: the Nuzlocke Challenge.

She took to it with gusto.  A terrifying gusto that left Pokemon and trainers alike beaten and broken in her wake.  Some of those Pokemon were her own.

She showed little mercy at the start of her adventure - she would train her team for literally hours in order to obliterate opponents - and most would describe her as borderline psychotic with how flippantly callous she was - she would literally box or abandon a Pokemon, and then immediately make jokes about it.  ...She was also just borderline psychotic in general: when retrieving the Cut HM, rather than giving the poor sick sea captain a back rub, she smacked him over the head with a baseball bat and ran off with the HM instead, disregarding the fact that he could possibly end up drowning in his own vomit.  :|  She would also give her Pokemon names that were usually some sort of terrible joke or pun, but this is far less psychotic and really only mildly obnoxious.

She started noticeably calming down five years later, near the end of her Nuzlocke adventure, when - after finding her cherished Weavile, Kyr - she started to learn the ins and outs of Pokemon breeding, which took significantly more care than she'd ever put into anything before.  She was already sick to death of training and battling by that point, though, and found just taking care of young Pokemon - and figuring out the best ways to breed the strongest, fastest, and overall best Pokemon, of course - relaxing and rewarding.  She later took up working at a ranch in Vien Town to fund her own hobby, which eventually snowballed into a legitimate business (helped along by the ranch owners) when trainers in the area learned that she was breeding strong, custom-bred Pokemon, and that she was willing to sell them.

It wasn't long before Team Rocket learned of her business and skill, and approached her with the intent of either intimidating her into handing over Pokemon for their boss, or just stealing them if she didn't cooperate.  To their surprise, she wasn't in the least bit intimidated, but she did more than just cooperate - she joined Team Rocket outright.  While she may have partially done so in order to protect the ranch owners and their family (even going so far as to warn Team Rocket to leave them be, and handily defeating any who ignored her warning), it seems she mostly joined due to boredom; aside from missing the adventure of traveling, there wasn't always much to do on the ranch, and it didn't allow for much luxury.

In the two years she has since spent working alongside Team Rocket, the other team members have come to understand that she is not a force to be trifled with - her team is immensely well-trained (with Kyr on her own enough to wipe out the average grunt's team in seconds), she cannot be intimidated, and she is still mostly lacking in the mercy department.  She will not hesitate to strike down any who stand against her.  Though she is a powerful trainer, thought to be close in prowess to Giovanni himself (and she is, having trumped him numerous times during her Nuzlocke Challenge), her standing in Team Rocket - effectively above most Rocket Admins, who know to stay out of her way - is technically still that of a grunt.  Not only does she lack the ambition (read: doesn't care) to try rising up in the ranks, or even to attempt facing off against the Boss, but she is kept from being promoted due to her ignoring authority, as well as her inability to steal Pokemon.  It's unclear exactly why she has no problem with stealing items or money, yet can't bring herself to steal Pokemon, but most would say that she has built up a block around this due to working as a breeder for so long, and seeing how much other people care about their Pokemon.  Most would also say that this is probably the only kind of mercy she is really capable of showing.

She earns much of her keep in Team Rocket by bringing in specially bred Pokemon, or those she finds and catches in the wild (she habitually allows herself to catch only one per area), as well as rare items and money.  More recently, she has been charged with guiding a new recruit named Elly, keeping track of her progress and basically being her battling mentor.  She is either unaware of the fact that the higher-ups wish for Elly's Pokemon-thieving ways to rub off on her, or she just doesn't care.

She maintains her competitiveness in battle and mule-like stubbornness from her Nuzlocke days, and still lacks courtesy, commonly offending others (both intentionally and accidentally), but she isn't constantly in motion, flipping out, or screaming at the top of her lungs.  She typically appears relaxed and uninterested, and though her flat demeanor makes it difficult to notice, she is rarely, if ever, serious (though this has always been true of her).  She processes things (situations, information, etc.) at her own pace, which makes her seem a tad spacey.  She gets spooked easily, having an overactive imagination, which also doesn't help her rampant paranoia; she is convinced everyone is out to get her somehow, probably due to a number of her teammates back during the Nuzlocke Challenges turning on her in some way.  Though she sees herself as male, and will dress and act accordingly, she will use pronouns that are biologically correct in reference to herself, and expects others to do the same (not that she minds if they don't).  However, if someone actually calls her a girl, or treats her like one, she will become noticeably annoyed, and may correct them (or just lash out at them if they're being a dick about it).

Her team consists of Kyr (Weavile), Elita (Purugly), Break (Dusknoir), Flaira (Ninetales), Don (Honchkrow), and Seln (Gardevoir), all of which were raised from the egg and specially trained (i.e. EV-trained).  Though she still has some issues with legitimately caring for her Pokemon, save for Kyr, she is not particularly callous in her treatment of this team.  And Kyr, of course, will always be her favorite.

Terri was originally designed as, basically, my avatar for Pokemon.  However, her personality ended up so vastly different from my own that the only thing she now shares with me is the way I occasionally draw myself.  There is also a Homestuck version of her, which is the troll version - Kasmer Sindre - of the Homestuck avatar I made for myself.  Because, amusingly enough, Kasmer acts as different from my Homestuck avatar as Terri does from me.  XD;

75. Elly Sandelwood

Name: Elly Sandelwood (originally: Elya)
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Universe: Pokemon

A perpetual follower, Elly has many of the typical flaws found in Rocket grunts; particularly the lack of strength, skill, and a fully-rounded team (up until being placed with Terri, she typically only carried her Skitty and Crobat with her).  She grew up familiar with and adoring Team Rocket, having an Admin for a stepmother and a highly skilled Elite Agent for a sister (the latter of whom, however, went awol a few years back).  Thus, Elly has always looked forward to joining the Team and serving the Boss.

Almost immediately after being indited, due to some string-pulling by her stepmother made out to look like punishment for acting up (read: battling with her friend/rival, Seth), Elly is stuck with a rather unwilling Terri.  Her objectives include learning proper battling techniques and figuring out the secret to Terri's skill in Pokemon breeding, as well as helping her new partner on the path to being a proper member of Team Rocket by getting her to actually steal Pokemon.  She's supposed to be keeping that particular objective quiet, but she's kind of obvious about it, and it's likely that Terri already knows.

Though she typically puts on a super-sweet and affectionate front, she has an awful temper and a slight mean streak.  She makes a big deal out of everything and is a bit of a crybaby, often taking things too literally, which clashes badly with Terri's habit of sounding serious when she's definitely not.  Elly is terribly naive when it comes to proper morals, and doesn't seem to understand why stealing or hurting people would be considered wrong.  She has a terrible sense of humor, and, quite strangely, seems to find Pokemon attractive.  She tries to avoid training male Pokemon for this particular reason, as they tend to distract her.  (Understandably, this weirds Terri out to no end.)

Her team initially starts out with only Raiya (Skitty [later Delcatty]) and Eurydice (Crobat), until Terri helps her round out her team, giving her Shale (Mismagius) and Ignace (Masquerain), as well as pressuring her into catching Laruli (Drifloon [later Drifblim]) and raising Ardynne (Manaphy, though Elly's stepmother eventually has her turn it in to the Boss; Terri gives her a Phione to compensate, named Marina).  Elly also seems to have befriended a wild Venusaur who will follow along after her, and occasionally battle for her.  She named it Bruce, after her first crush.  (Terri isn't really sure what to think of this.)

76. Kyr

(Design for the Pokemon universe only.)

Name: Kyr
Gender: Female (/Female [physically: none])

Age: 4/112
Universes: Pokemon - Fall to Ruin saga
Special Tag: 'Designed by...'  (Because, obviously, I didn't design Weaviles.  Some Nintendo/Game Freak employee did.)

In the Fall to Ruin saga, Kyr was a tiny blue-eyed Irken who would be banished alongside Jez, for (apparently) stealing nachos on Free Nacho Day.  That was the only scene in which she would ever appear.  She was originally made up as my Irken avatar.

Meanwhile, in the Pokemon universe, Kyr is Terri McScience's prize Pokemon, though no one can figure why, and Terri won't tell.  EVER.  (But that's okay, because I'll tell you the story right here.)

During her travels as a Nuzlocke Challenger, Terri uncovered Kyr's egg - slightly cracked and coated in cold mud, having apparently taken a tumble from a hidden nest - and decided to take it with her, and that if the Pokemon inside hatched, that would be her one Pokemon for the route.  It was an extremely lucky turn of events, because if Terri had come by any later, Kyr never would have hatched at all.  In a slightly less lucky turn of events, Kyr hatched with severe mental handicaps due to the tumble her egg had taken, but in the luckiest turn of events by far, Terri found her absolutely adorable and endearing and decided to keep her anyway.  This was highly shocking to the rest of Terri's team, given that Terri is not particularly known for being nice, and has boxed or abandoned Pokemon for far lesser reasons.

And, unlike all the other Pokemon Terri had ever caught up to that point, Kyr somehow managed to do what none of the others could - get her trainer to actually, legitimately, care about her.  Granted, Kyr also did something else that, even after several Nuzlocke Challenges, none of Terri's Pokemon had ever done before:  she stayed with her.  It's unclear if Kyr did so because she is mentally unstable, or because she cares about Terri despite her trainer's constant callous behavior, but so far, it appears as though it's a little bit of both.

At first glance, it seems as though Kyr is next to useless in battle, as, without fail, she will never use the right attack, and will sometimes even use attacks she doesn't actually know - or can't learn!   Terri, however, has been with Kyr for long enough to accommodate, understanding not just how her mind works, but how her moods and personality factor in to how her mind works, as well.  She knows Kyr is constantly hyperactive, affectionate, and excessively adventurous, wanting to shove her nose up in everyone's business, and when Kyr's in this typical mood, it's business as usual when it comes to battle.  Kyr may never use the right attack, but she's nothing if not predictable in never using the right attack, and will almost always use one particular move in exchange for another (for example, if she's told to use Aerial Ace, she will pretty much always go for Surf instead).  Of course, her mix-ups are only 'almost always' predictable - she still makes mistakes every now and then.

If Kyr is calmer than normal, however, or more withdrawn and less clingy (or all of the above), things that only Terri is typically able to recognize, battling gets a little less convoluted.  Though mistakes are still inevitable here and there, a calmer Kyr means that a mix-up in attacks won't happen, and things get much less confusing for other trainers (because Aerial Ace no longer means Surf, and instead means Aerial Ace like it's supposed to).  On the other hand, Terri has learned that when Kyr is more hyperactive, clingy, or adventurous than usual, battling is probably the dumbest thing to possibly decide to do with her, as it means Kyr will not be anywhere in the least bit controllable, and certainly not anywhere near predictable, and at that point it's best to either use another Pokemon or just bow out entirely before things get embarrassing.

Kyr has an Adamant nature, likes to thrash around, and adores spicy food above all else.  Her moveset consists of Surf, Aerial Ace, Brick Break, and Avalanche.  Rarely, she will be entered into Cool Contests (which she will rarely win), and she is also a champion at any games involving sticks, such as 'Fetch The Stick' or 'Draw Squiggles In Some Mud With A Stick' and, especially, 'Get Poked With A Stick By Some Terrified Child You Happen To Be Drooling All Over'.

As a testament to the fact that she is Terri's favorite, she was given a Nugget to wear on a chain around her neck.  She is the only Pokemon of Terri's who has ever received such a gift, and she seems to understand its significance; she is not only extremely careful with it, but has never once taken it off.

77. Seth Dumont

Name: Seth Dumont

Gender: Female (physically: male) (originally: male)
Age: 17 (originally: 26)
Universes: Pokemon, doom.ED.

Originally created for an apocalyptic future story setting that never went anywhere, he was a young well-to-do son of a rich foreign family, who were trying to get him to settle down by threatening to cut him off from their finances if he didn't find himself a wife ASAP.  For some reason he chose to go to America to look for a suitable girl, and I guess he wound up traveling with a group of three outcasts - two orphan children and his eventual love interest - fighting for survival (against something I never actually decided on), and for some reason he fought with a tetherball on a chain???  ...Yeah.  I don't even know.

She later turned into the childhood neighbor/friend/friendly rival of Elly, joining her as a grunt in Team Rocket, though when the two acted up she was put in her place by Terri, a Rocket veteran.  She then immediately focused on Terri as a real rival, though the sentiment is not at all returned.  Her team consists mostly of Ice and Steel types, though she makes sure to also have Pokemon that counter her  glaring weaknesses.  (Her team consists of Beldum, Snorunt [later Froslass], Spheal, Mawile, Smoochum, and Delibird.)

Very hard-working and an extreme perfectionist, she's also kind of egotistic and too sure of herself, so when she does mess up, or when she loses in battle (which actually doesn't happen too often), she takes it pretty hard.  And then she takes it out on everyone else (which sometimes includes herself).  She joined Team Rocket partially because of her friendship with Elly (and thus Elly's Rocket Admin stepmother, Fae), but mostly because she idolizes Elite Officer 009 (AKA Domino), and wants to be like her.

She has been deliberating on a new, more feminine name for herself since she was five.  As of yet, she still has not been able to decide, wanting a name that is perfect for her.  (She is starting to lean towards either Sophie or Shae.)

78. Dime

Name: Dime Alexandria Douzaine (originally: Krys [HA!])
Gender: Female

Age: 14
Universe: Legend of Zelda

Special Tag: 'Based On...'

Another character who started out as a self-insert, Dime was initially designed for a Legend of Zelda fan-game my friend Tim was...kind of sort of working on, or was thinking of working on?  Back then, due to my self-absorbed retardation, I kinda just sketched up a fairy version of myself, shoved it at him, and said 'Hey, put this in your game, kay thanks'.  I'm still surprised he didn't wind up punching me or something.  XD

I have no idea what she was supposed to do, though, or why she was a human-sized fairy.  It wasn't like she was supposed to be a Great Fairy or anything.  I think at some point she was supposed to be a guard for a princess, and since she and the princess looked alike they occasionally switched places, but I instantly find that stupid nowadays.  So...I guess I'll just make something else up off the top of my head now.  It's going to be awful, because I honestly don't give a shit.

So, uh...okay, here I go.

She was once a typical fairy, and in some horrible and retarded magical accident, she ended up turned human-sized, and now has to find some way to turn back to normal - which she has been trying to do (and failing) for quite a while now.  Too bad she's not in the Minish Cap game, and also has no idea what the Minish are, or turning back to her regular size would probably be way easier.  8D

All I recall of her personality was that she was whiny and tomboyish and extremely tsundere - if a boy so much as looked at her the wrong way, she'd smack him with her hammer.  Because that is always...so...hilarious?  :\

Her entire name is a pun: Dime A. Douzaine, with Douzaine being French for 'dozen' - Dime A Dozen.  ...I don't know why I did that, but I still think it's funny for some reason.  :|

79. Zukki

(Outfit design for the Dragonball Z universe only.)

Name: Zukki (originally: Zehna), Zuti Summers

Gender: Female
Age: 54/27
Universes: Dragonball Z, The Tales of Hope and Mystery

Arguably the first fan-character I ever created, and - as far as I'm concerned - my first Mary-Sue.  Though nowadays I guess her status as Mary-Sue is [almost] debatable, as I created her to be a younger sister for Vegeta, who later turned out to have a little brother in canon (who is adorable, but still - Tarble;  WHY?).  And while I guess she was technically never capable of going Super Saiyan, she was still this really cliche rebellious princess (the Princess of Saiyans, uuuuuurgh, so lame) who ditched her duties (and somehow avoided Freeza's wrath?) to go off and be a space pirate or something.  (...Like Turles, basically.)

Nowadays, her social status has been demoted to what amounts to a maid in the royal palace, and she probably had to take care of little baby Vegeta at some point, and she was probably not happy about it, because she's a fucking Saiyan warrior, not a damn babysitter!  And then she ditches work and goes off into outer space well before Freeza destroys the Saiyan planet so she can pillage and plunder and whatever else space pirates do to her heart's content.  She's a bit smarter than the average Saiyan, and has a better handle on her drive for battle - she doesn't pick fights she knows she can't win, unless she's absolutely certain her opponent WON'T kill her.  (Which, given her typical behavior, is a tad unlikely.)  Her power level is somewhere in the range of 6 to 7 thousand, her tail remains a huge weak point, and she has absolutely no control over her Oozaru form.

Meanwhile, she also plays a [very tiny] role in The Tales of Hope and Mystery.  That is, she is Matt and Skazi Summers' mother, and has (or had) some sort of mysterious relationship with G.?  Who even knows with that family, though, I mean, seriously.

Her personality is the same in both instances: she's a total bitch.  She rants and rages and fumes and mocks and insults and if something is in close range of her hands she will probably throw it at someone's head at some point.  She literally never stays still - even when asleep she kicks around like a maniac - and she has the same boundless energy as the rest of the Summers family.  Much like her son, she's rude and brazen, with - unfortunately enough - a hair-trigger temper that makes Skazi's occasional hissy-fits look like the paragon of serenity.

Her name was originally Zehna.  I don't even know why, it wasn't even a food-related name, let alone a vegetable pun.  I wound up changing her name to Zuti first - which is how it remains in The Tales of Hope and Mystery - the name itself being taken directly from Kantarion Zuti, or Klamath Weed Tea.  This is because, for some reason, I was having trouble finding a plant-type name that started with Z.  But then I remembered that zucchinis are still a thing, so her Saiyan iteration is now simply named Zukki.

80. Jez

Name: Jez
Gender: Female (physically: none)
Age: 138
Universe: Fall to Ruin saga

Created for the vaguely planned fourth installment of Fall to Ruin, Jez was, alongside Rat and Kree, a main character of the story.  Exiled just before the fall of the Irken Empire for loyalty issues (and for just being plain annoying), she was previously an announcement drone, and seems to be under the impression that she's just on a very long vacation.  Unfortunately, her vacation was recently cut short when she was accosted by bounty hunters, who were searching for any Irkens not taken into captivity by the Resisty.  Jez fought admirably, though in this case fighting admirably means getting tossed around like a rag doll and losing quite thoroughly in a very short-lived struggle (during which one of her antennae were bent), after which she was tossed into a cage, dragged halfway across the galaxy, and sold to the Vortian owner of Rat, Kree, and Vol.

Proud and somewhat delusional, Jez likes to be able to do her own thing at any time, and doesn't play well with non-Irken types; unsurprisingly, she doesn't take her newfound slavery very well. She is rather hot-tempered, but calms down quickly, and is easily confused (which is particularly effective in averting her whiny wrath).

Her height is a thoroughly average 5 foot 2, and, to her great dismay, she harbors a secret adoration for shorter Irkens.  She is terrible at hiding this secret, as she is far nicer to short Irkens than she is to anyone else.  (Suffice to say, this baffles Rat terribly, as he gets the brunt of her rare displays of niceness.)

81. Rat

Name: Rat
Gender: Male (physically: none)
Age: 261
Universe: Fall to Ruin saga

Intended to appear in the vaguely planned fourth installment of Fall to Ruin, Rat was a main character of the story alongside Jez and Kree.

Formerly being trained as a medic, upon learning that his scores in the Academy allowed for it, Rat quickly ditched the job in order to begin Elite training.  Unfortunately, halfway through said training, Devastis was attacked by the Resisty, and he was quickly captured and sold off as a slave.

He has a terribly smart-ass mouth and tends to get exasperated easily, though after a run-in early on with his Vortian owner led to a ruined antennae, he tends to cover up whatever he feels with a defensively withdrawn demeanor.  He also avoids conflict with superiors at all costs, and refrains from complaining about his station in life, unlike before, when he would run his mouth off at any opportunity.  To keep himself from talking when he shouldn't, he took to chewing on his uniform collar instead, which has become somewhat of an unconscious habit.  A less fortunate habit he developed was scratching at his arms when distressed, leading to a worrisome amount of scars.

When not in the presence of his owner or any sort of superior, he lapses back into his familiar sarcasm, particularly among other Irkens.  This does not exactly endear him to any of them, but he doesn't particularly care; he is somewhat on the anti-social side (though not shy by any means).  The only people who he's really willing to loosen up around are Jez and Kree (and, to some degree, Seln).

He is, in his own opinion, embarrassingly short at a height of exactly four feet, and he has absolutely no idea why a much taller and respectable Irken like Jez would even want to associate with him.  (Not that he minds that she does.)

82. Kree

Name: Kree
Gender: Female (physically: none)
Age: 94
Universe: Fall to Ruin saga

Kree was meant to appear in the vaguely planned fourth installment of Fall to Ruin, and was a main character of the story alongside Jez and Rat.

She was among a plethora of other smeets who were captured by the Meekrob after only just being encoded, and sent off to an Irken containment cell on an asteroid, where she and the other smeets were imprisoned for nearly three decades.  Among a handful of others, she was later handed over to the Resisty, and subsequently sold into slavery.  She has spent the greater part of her life in the service of a Vortian, who she gets along rather well with, as, unlike Jez and Rat, Kree has come to accept her role as a slave, having known little else.

It is common for most aliens - and even some Irkens - to mistake her for a smeet, as, due to the harsh conditions in which she was raised throughout adolescence, her growth was severely hampered; even at the nearly mature age of 94, she is still only 2 feet and 11 inches, which is a typical height for a very young Irken.  Making it even easier to mistake her for a child, the near-constant emotional and physical trauma during her decades of imprisonment rendered her incapable of behaving as anything other than a quiet and skittish smeet, and she will, without fail, latch on to any older Irken who happens to be closest to her at the time.

Despite her dependence on others, her timidity masks a sharp intellect - typical PAK knowledge aside, her Vortian owner allows her access to his entire collection of information as a reward for her consistently good behavior.

83. Vol

Name: Vol

Gender: Male (physically: none)
Age: 170
Universe: Fall to Ruin saga

First appeared in the prologue of the second installment of the Fall to Ruin story, 'Picking Up the Pieces', as an Elite-in-training.  Later on in the story, he would have appeared again, this time as a full-fledged Elite, and attempting to kill Zim.  And as everyone always has, he would wind up failing - miserably.  Unlike most who fall victim to Zim's sheer freakish luck and apparent invulnerability, though, Vol doesn't hold any particular grudge against Zim for it; he is well aware that his failure was his own fault.  (This is not to say, however, that he doesn't still utterly despise Zim on principle - because he totally does.)

Later on in the Saga, he would be placed as Seln's personal bodyguard after her coronation as Tallest, though he would later be overwhelmed during the Resisty's attacks on the Irken Empire, and from there would be sold into slavery.  He then takes his place as the bodyguard of a Vortian businessman (and owner of Jez, Rat, and Kree).

He generally acts very haughty and aloof towards everyone, save his owner and Seln, both of whom he remains professionally cordial towards.  However, he will extend this cordiality to any individual who can prove their worth to him (and Jez, despite that she has yet to prove anything, because he has a soft spot for her that he will never, ever, EVER admit to).  He is orderly to an extreme degree, and very serious-business, not standing for any nonsense or silly shenanigans, and - atypical for an Irken - he is perfectly capable of recognizing and admitting to his own shortcomings (although if anyone else points out his shortcomings to him, he will probably punch them).

He maintains a respectable height of 5 feet, 8 inches.

84. Seln

(Design for the Fall to Ruin universe only.)

Name: Seln
Gender: Female (physically: none)
Age: 253/2
Universes: Fall to Ruin saga, Pokemon

First appeared in the prologue of the second installment for the Fall to Ruin story, 'Picking Up the Pieces', as one of the advisers to the Tallests.  Typically very calm and collected, she rarely speaks, and strangely seems to care more for the well-being of other Irkens than her own.

Later on in the saga, due to something happening to Red and Purple (though I can't for the life of me recall what), she would have eventually become Tallest (at a height of 7 feet, 1 inch), only to wind up - after several years of attempting peaceful negotiations - with the Resisty finally succeeding in overthrowing the Irken race, after which she is sold into slavery to a Meekrob.  Though not before having her antennae severed (as punishment for...being Irken, I guess), which dulled her reflexes and makes processing most sensory information difficult for her.

In the Pokemon universe, she is a member of Terri's Pokemon team; a female Gardevoir with a Quiet nature.  Despite being the newest and youngest on the team, she often behaves like a mother towards the others.

85. Emma Bellucci

Name: Emma Bellucci (originally: Emi)

Gender: Female

Age: 19
Universe: A/Kitsun/A

Special Tag: 'Based On...'

Before I get into the actual character description, I feel I must state that, as a rule, A/Kitsun/A never actually had all of its kinks worked out.  And it had a LOT of kinks.  Because honestly?  It started out as a spoof/ripoff of Sailor Moon, where the main character was my best friend Emily (though they now go by Emlan), who was - literally, no joke - called Sailor Emi when she transformed.  It was a really REALLY shitty comic, which ironically got farther than most of my comics do nowadays, at least as far as the number of pages went.  It also had absolutely no plot.

The redux didn't fare much better, and went nowhere to boot.  I could never even really figure out what to call it, and to this day I just stick with the joke title of A/Kitsun/A (which only works on a fundamental level that makes only the barest amounts of sense - A.K.A. in reference to the fact that the magical soldiers use an entirely different name on transforming, and also a slight corruption of 'kitsune', as the main character's transformed state had fox-like traits; also 'a kitsune' - it's wapanese for 'a fox'!).  I had some vague ideas involving people who were half whatever animal I felt like making them (despite them looking totally human but with pointed ears, tiny wings, tails, whatev), and I apparently referred to them as demons?  An obvious nod to InuYasha, though I think those ideas are probably what eventually led up to my usage of the animal spirits in The Spirit Marauder (though to a much more successful and sensible degree).

I also had some vague ideas about a war going on between gods and goddesses, which I never exactly figured out (though I know that Kali - then named Megami for really stupid but obvious reasons - was supposed to be at the heart of it all, and the goddess/spirit/demon/whatever that Emma gained her magical abilities from was kind of trying to stop her from...I dunno...being evil?  Committing genocide?  ...Attempting galactic dominance or something?  Fuck, I don't know).  Then there was some vague plot idea with that Ketsueki person (god, that terrible fucking name, it's not even a name), who had two gods with a yin and yang kind of theme battling it out for dominance in his mind so as to control his body???  (That character and his issues eventually led up to Ben and Breccan, who later on completely diverged from the idea of literal mental visitors, while his yin and yang theme led up to Elan and Lori from The Spirit Marauder.)

Lately, when considering A/Kitsun/A, I figured it should probably always stay as a magical girl story.  However, thanks to certain experiences I've had in the magical girl genre - particularly Puelli Magi Madoka Magica - if I ever took it up again, I would probably intentionally avoid a lot of the magical girl stereotypes and cliches, and go for something a bit darker...  One thing I know for sure, magical girls (or boys, even, cuz WHY NOT) wouldn't be chosen by destiny, or anything of the sort (particularly not in a world where magic is already common).  In fact, I thought it would be more interesting if becoming a magical soldier was intended more as...reform.  Say, a parent has a troublesome child, or thinks their child needs to be more productive, so...they send them off to special classes, where the child is bonded with some kind of magical being (one more powerful than the average magic user, who [mostly/partially?] takes over the physical body of their bonded human when fighting), and specifically trained to be peacekeepers to uphold the law and prevent misuse of magic and suchlike.  Typically, once their training ends, magical soldiers end up either settling into their role, abusing their powers, or just begrudgingly shirking their duties and trying to be 'normal' again.

The last choice of attempting normality would have been the one used for Emma, a college freshman who would have (in her high school years) been bonded to a fox spirit named Kit (originally named - stupidly, and obviously - Kitsune).  Aaaaaand that's about all I bothered to think about.

Aside from this exchange:
"My name is Kit.  But you can call me Kits for short!"
"But that's-  ...Sure.  Whatever."

As far as Emma's personality goes, I've attempted to diverge her personality from the attempted almost-Emlan I was originally trying to make her into, though some tidbits were kept the same.  She retains a greatly open mind and a vivid imagination, as well as a tendency to be indecisive.  Meanwhile, she is rather bitter, sarcastic, and will approach most social interaction with disdain (when she isn't gladly avoiding it); lucky for her, most consider her somewhat intimidating to approach.

As already stated, she was based on my friend, Emlan, whom I am amazed hasn't tried to drop-kick me thus far, especially considering all the retarded ideas I've come up with in the past.  I'M SORRY, EMLAN!  +_+;;;

86. Silver Zal-Raush

Name: Silver Zal-Raush
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Universe: A/Kitsun/A

Special Tag: 'Based On...'

Silver is the friendly, happy-go-lucky, accept-everyone-as-a-good-guy character one would expect to be the main character and leader of a magical girl squad.  And, in a reversal of the most common magical girl stereotype I've seen, she is most certainly not the main character, let alone the leader of a squad, because as it just so happens she's not even a magical girl.

She serves mainly as a friend and foil to Emma, and - when her friend is forced into action and has to fight - she normally cheers her on in the background, acting as a source of motivation.

Later on in this hypothetical story, I figured she'd probably get mixed up with the antagonists, try to turn one in particular to the good side (some redux'd version of Ketsueki, I guess), and end up having her mind taken over by Kali (Ketsueki's boss, basically).  Once the control was broken, it's likely she'd wind up mentally broken and placed in a psych ward for recovery.  I dunno, I didn't think much on it.  I honestly kinda just tossed that out off the top of my head as I was writing this.  :\

Silver was originally a carbon copy of myself.  She is now...most definitely not.  All she shares with me now is a penchant for being annoying.  XD  At the very beginning (back when the story was about 'Sailor Emi') she was also - because I was apparently a self-absorbed retard in the past? - the 'Chosen One' or some shit, and had some really amazing powers which she came across in a moment of need.  Real Mary-Sue stuff goin' on there, I tell you what.  Nowadays, though, she's on the sidelines, and the only really 'out there' bit to her now is her caretaker, Squall, who is some sort of demon lord.  More on that (kind of) in Squall's info down below, though.

87. Kirsten Cerice

Name: Kirsten Cerice
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Universe: A/Kitsun/A

Special Tag: 'Based On...'

Redesigning this character was kind of a unique challenge for me, as I'd never actually drawn her before - the only references I had to work with were a pixel doll and a tiny sprite.  Not only that, but the original design itself was just plain awful.  :\

But, anyway.  Very little was ever planned out for this character.  All that was ever decided initially was that - apparently - she was a cat creature of some sort, and she was based off an old high school classmate of mine named Christine.

This character will probably never have a personality or anything defining of the sort.  In fact, all she has to her name is a bit of backstory that I thought might be interesting:  transformation gone wrong.  All magical soldiers have special stones with which they can call upon their bonded creature in order to transform and fight.  A staple of magical girl stories, of course, but this particular magical soldier...lost hers.  While transformed.  And now she has no way of returning to normal, and her bonded creature has most of the control of her body.  Sucks, don't it?

88. Squall Zal-Raush

Name: Squall Zal-Raush
Gender: Fluid, generally uses 'he' pronoun out of habit rather than preference (physically: Interchangeable)
Age: Really fucking old
Universe: A/Kitsun/A

Originally made up for my old attempted comic series 'SD Crazy Fun Time', Squall was the demonic father of the self-insert characters of myself and a friend named Wendy (though why I made the two of us sisters in that story, I don't even remember; probably for 'Rule of Funny' in a number of exchanges).  Either way, he was a demon, because for some reason I was really keen on demons back then, and more specifically he was the King of Demons, because I guess I just thought that was really cool or something.

He is a terrible King of Demons; he's super cutesy and friendly and overall bad at being a demon.  There was apparently a reason for this, which is that some time long ago in his backstory, his mate was grievously injured and about to die, so he used some sort of fancy magic to combine his body with hers so that she could at least live on that way.  Her personality, clearly, had much more of an impact on his than he'd initially thought it would.  The merge also - for some reason I never really bothered figuring out but now will decide is because IT'S MAGIC and MAGIC DOESN'T HAVE TO MAKE SENSE - allowed him to switch back and forth between being physically male or female.  Due to this, he isn't particularly picky about pronouns, and will sometimes even flip both sex and gender just to throw people off and make them uncomfortable.  He apparently finds it hilarious.

In A/Kitsun/A, that particular portion of his backstory hasn't changed, but rather than being the King of Demons, he is merely one of a number of Demon Lords, who spend most of their time causing minor trouble amongst humans for fun.  He's much less of a troublemaker, however, as he harbors an admittedly embarrassing affinity for human trinkets, and thus prefers staying on the good side of the humans he trades with.  His affection for the human world led to his eventual rescue and adoption of an infant girl, whom he named Silver.

89. Amaris Rosario

Name: Amaris Rosario (Originally:  ...Tsuki.  ...UUUUURGH, WHY)
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Universe: A/Kitsun/A

An example of a magical soldier who decided to abuse their powers for their own personal gain.  She works for Kali, for reasons I haven't really bothered to think about, though I guess she's probably being manipulated?  Her bonded magical being is a moon spirit, though not necessarily the spirit of Earth's moon.  (Though obviously her bonded moon spirit is why she was originally named Tsuki.  Her name is now actually a real and proper name, and is Spanish for 'child of the moon', as well as 'promised by God' in Hebrew, both of which fit.)

In a shameless repetition of another character's yin-yang theme, she had a sister whose bonded creature was a sun spirit, and was her opposite in personality (even the sister's original name, Taiyou, was the opposite to Amaris' old name, obviously meaning 'sun').  'Taiyou', however, is now called Kuni, and Kuni went on to be a much more thought-out and useful character.  Amaris, meanwhile, probably only led up to the creation of Shale, from Heavenshine.

90. Kali

Name: Kali (Originally: ...Megami u___u)
Gender: Female
Age: Too high to actually bother counting up years
Universe: A/Kitsun/A

Not much was ever planned out for this character, though she was meant to be the final villain of A/Kitsun/A.  I suppose that while most of the god/goddess/spirit/demon/magical being whatevers needed to inhabit the body of a human in order to have an impact on the corporeal plane, this particular one was powerful enough to do so without a conduit - which is pretty bad, because apparently she wants to rule over everything.  Or just destroy everything.  I never really decided.  XD

I never even thought up a personality for her, now that I think about it.  The only other thing I can say about her is that her name used to be Megami, because 'LOL IT MEANS GODDESS IN JAPANESE'.  I was really set on using random Japanese words as names when I was younger.  Geez.  (She is now directly named after the Hindu goddess of time, change, and destruction.)

91. Nix Hornbuckle

(Design for the Tales of Hope and Mystery universe only.)

Name: Nix Hornbuckle (last name only used in the Tales of Hope and Mystery)

Gender: Neutral (physically: Female...???)
Age: 1/9 months
Tagged: The Tales of Hope and Mystery - Fall to Ruin saga

Nix - along with her brother, Kid - will appear later in the Hope and Mystery story, and the two of them will probably baffle a few people, because their mother, Zip, was quite obviously never actually pregnant.  What the hell, even?  To make things stranger, despite being born at the same time, they are - at least according to Zip and Dan - apparently not actually twins.

Being an infant, Nix has little discernible personality, though she is much more loud and fussy than her brother, and clings to anyone who might pick her up.  It is almost impossible to make her let go before she wants to.

In the vague concept of a fourth installment for the Fall to Ruin saga, Nix and her brother actually were twins, which Zim produced semi-naturally after a number of failed attempts.  The two were intended as some sort of bizarre gift for Dib (their genetic father), as well as a couple of potential 'evil little minions' for Zim himself (though as Dib was well aware, 'evil little minions' in this case just meant two more smeet-pets for Zim to coddle and spoil horribly, as Hope was much older and bigger by that point, and could no longer be appropriately coddled and spoiled, as she was off doing her own thing).

Nix originally appeared in a silly crossover roleplay with Emlan, having been - due to my self-insert getting impatient with Dib and Zim's in-character animosity towards each other - quickly spawned via 'author magic' to torment her brand new parents.  She existed to be either disgustingly cute or obnoxiously insane, but mostly to just make Zim and Dib miserable.  Because it was hilarious.

Her initial design, which is not the one portrayed above, was made jointly by myself and Emlan.

92. Kid Hornbuckle

(Design for the Tales of Hope and Mystery universe only.)

Name: Kid Hornbuckle (last name only used in the Tales of Hope and Mystery)

Gender: Neutral (physically: Male...???)
Age: 1/9 months
Universes: The Tales of Hope and Mystery, Fall to Ruin saga

Kid - along with his sister, Nix - will appear later in the Hope and Mystery story, and the two of them will probably baffle a few people, because their mother, Zip, was quite obviously never actually pregnant.  What the hell, even?  To make things stranger, despite being born at the same time, they are - at least according to Zip and Dan - apparently not actually twins.

Being an infant, Kid has little discernible personality, though he is noticeably less fussy than his sister.

In the vague concept of a fourth installment for the Fall to Ruin saga, Kid and his sister actually were twins, which Zim produced semi-naturally after a number of failed attempts.  They were intended as some sort of bizarre gift for Dib (their genetic father), as well as a couple of potential 'evil little minions' for Zim himself (though as Dib was well aware, 'evil little minions' in this case just meant two more smeet-pets for Zim to coddle and spoil horribly, as Hope was much older and bigger by that point, and could no longer be appropriately coddled and spoiled, as she was off doing her own thing).

(Shameless copy-pasta over now, I swear.  xD)

Kid originally appeared as a joke character for a crossover roleplay with Emlan, apparently one of Zim and Dib's spawn from the future, and his initial design was a blatant mash-up of his parents (to poke fun at a good deal of pre-existing ZADR spawn).  He was quickly subjected to a variety of wacky shenanigans, most of which he found embarrassing, such as being forced to wear a giant mustard bottle costume.  He also spent the entire time being ignored by Zim and Dib (who were both under the impression that they would not get together and have another child willingly - which was true, but irrelevent for silly roleplay reasons), though he suggested that this was somewhat normal.

In the roleplay, his real name was not actually Kid, though whenever he tried to say his real name, something goofy or loud happened to distract everyone.  In the Tales of Hope and Mystery, Zip gave him the name because it means 'baby goat', which she clearly thought was cute and endearing.  Meanwhile, in much later story plans for the Fall to Ruin saga, Zim gave him the name because he hadn't expected twins and therefore hadn't thought up two names (he outright refused to let Dib think of a name, despite the fact that he'd intended the smeet[s] to be a 'gift').

93. Wilbur Higglesworth

Name: Wilbur Higglesworth, "Wibble"

Gender: Male
Age: 9
Universe: The Tales of Hope and Mystery

Special Tag: 'Created By...'

Raised by his grandmother, Wilbur - usually referred to as 'Wibble' - is a nervous and sensitive child who has the misfortune of living on the same street as Hope and Mystery, who were very quick to peg him as their favorite victim.  It doesn't exactly help that bullying him is the farthest thing from being hard; just calling him by his nickname can be enough to set him off crying sometimes.

He spends most of his time playing by himself, though this is due more to the fact that he prefers playing alone rather than that he has difficulty making friends - Hope and Mystery aside, he gets along well enough with the other kids in the neighborhood.

He enjoys sandboxes and toy motorbikes, and - after a run-in with a certain duo - developed a crippling fear of swings.  He hopes to one day be like his amazing older brother, who is known only by the name Extremo.  So far, though, it looks like he's going to have to settle for being the champion of Extreme Crying.

Wibble first came into existence during a roleplay between me and Emlan, in which Hope (then still a part of the Invader Zim universe) was to meet Mystery (then from the Metalocalypse universe) for the first time.  The two met in daycare, where Wibble was minding his own business, until Hope began pestering him to find out where the snacks were kept.  She quickly found him boring, and she made sure to tell him so - he was so shocked by her blunt rudeness that he started crying.  Or, more particularly, he started 'wibbling', and that was how he got his name.  (Or, at least, his nickname.  Which he hates.)  Emlan technically created him, though I can't recall who ended up designing him first...  x_x;;;

94. Matt Summers

(Design for the Tales of Hope and Mystery universe only.)

Name: Matt Summers, Mato

Gender: Male
Age: 10
Universes: The Tales of Hope and Mystery, Dragonball Z

G. Summers' son and the more competitive twin brother of Skazi Summers, Matt lives one street over from Hope and Mystery.  He lives and breathes in sports, be it anywhere from football to ping-pong to track, and most would say that his energy is limitless.  He shares this trait with his twin, but unfortunately (at least in his case), that's all they share.  Possibly his only positive trait is his unbelievable patience, but even though this patience extends to dealing with people and not just being able to actually sit still for prolonged periods of time (something his father and sister are unable to do), it doesn't stop him from being rude and abrasive.

Much to the annoyance of many of his neighbors, he makes a challenge out of just about everything, and to his sister's great dismay, he's also a daredevil to the extreme.  It is a downright miracle that he isn't constantly in the hospital.

Initially, Matt came into being because Krys was being a weird shipping fangirl and drew up some awful offspring for Goku and Vegeta.  His name was originally 'Mato', which is obviously most of the word 'tomato'.  (I'd say I had the twins come about via a wish on the Dragonballs and not actual m-preg, but I'd be lying.  :D)

95. Skazi Summers

(Design for the Tales of Hope and Mystery universe only.)

Name: Skazi Summers, Sukasu
Gender: Female

Age: 10
Universes: The Tales of Hope and Mystery, Dragonball Z

G. Summers' daughter and the rather less competitive twin sister of Matt Summers, Skazi lives one street over from Hope and Mystery.  Despite being less competitive than her brother, she's just as energetic, and is almost constantly on the move.  Fortunately, though the twins share this trait for seemingly inexhaustible energy, they don't share much else.  She's helpful and friendly, if a bit quick-tempered, and has somewhat of a hero complex.

Originally, Skazi was spawned by Krys being a goofy slash fangirl and drawing horrible Goku/Vegeta offspring.  Her name started out as 'Sukasu', which I'm pretty sure was supposed to be a terribly butchered version of 'squash'.  (I'd say I had this whole twins deal happen thanks to wishing on Dragonballs and not actually having any male in particular impregnated, but that would make me a liar.  :D)

96. G. Summers

The P.E. teacher at Hope and Mystery's school, and single father of the twins Matt and Skazi Summers, G. is extremely athletic and strong, but beyond his physical skills, very little is actually known about him.  Why is he single?  Where did his kids' mother go?  Why did he name his daughter 'Skazi'?  And what the heck is his real name, anyway?

While he might be somewhat of an enigma to all the kids but his own, he is at the very least a cheerful and pleasant enigma.  As absolutely nothing gets to him, G. is easily the most laid-back and playful teacher in the entire school, and he's more energetic than half the kids he teaches.

As Matt and Skazi were originally spawned by Krys being silly and making horrible offspring of Goku and Vegeta for some bizarre reason (read: being a dumb fangirl), G.'s initial design was basically just a mash-up of the two Saiyans (a concept which is especially amusing to me given the fact that mash-ups of Goku and Vegeta are already an actual thing in canon XD), only rendered in a way that it wouldn't be too terribly obvious.  However, it was still kind of obvious.  Hopefully it is now less so.

97. Zip Hornbuckle

Name: Zip Hornbuckle
Gender: Female

Age: ???
Universe: The Tales of Hope and Mystery

Special Tag: 'Based On...'

Hope's adoptive mother (or 'keeska', as she is called), Zip Hornbuckle is a cheery bundle of sweetness who just about embodies the concept of a good neighbor.  She takes the role of housewife very seriously, as well as with an almost alarming amount of gusto, and she can always be counted on to watch diligently over any of the kids in the neighborhood, even if her hands already seem full with Hope and Mystery and their many shenanigans.

She is strangely keen on most aspects of being a stay-at-home mom, taking to cleaning, laundry, sewing, and the like with a sort of wide-eyed awe that makes one think that all of it is new and amazing to her.  It certainly isn't, but she's been that way for the ten years Dan has known her, and who knows where she was before then?  (Certainly not outer space.  That would be ridiculous.)

While she is quite skilled in most kinds of housework, a friendly word of warning is to avoid her cooking at all costs, as only Hope appears to be able to eat it without any ill effects.  No one is quite sure why.  She also seems to lack a deft hand in mechanics, despite what her decent work on fixing the family car might say; after all, the squatblanger is always acting up in that darn thing!

Last but not least, don't ask about Skree Time.  You never...EVER...ask about Skree Time.

Originally, given that Hope began as an Invader Zim fancharacter, with her adoptive parents being Zim and Dib, I got so used to this backstory of hers that I designed Zip to be basically an outright parody of Zim.  Even her name was a nod to the show (via Jessica: 'I think his name is Zip or something').  Zip did not stay this way for very long, though; in fact, the very first time Zip was used in roleplay, she was so radically different from Zim in personality that it was almost hard to believe.  It was also extremely hilarious.  By now, there are very few similarities that remain between her and Zim, the biggest one being the fact that they are certainly not aliens and are in truth just weird humans with skin conditions that turned them green.  (Also, Zip's outfit is the same as the one I designed to be worn by Zim in later - and as of yet unwritten - parts of the Fall to Ruin saga.)

98. Dan Hornbuckle

Name: Dan Hornbuckle
Gender: Male

Age: 32

Universe: The Tales of Hope and Mystery

Special Tag: 'Based On...'

Hope's adoptive father, Dan Hornbuckle is a full-time workaholic.  When not off working as a private investigator, he can typically be found in his study reading up on a vast variety of topics (none of which he will ever talk about) or around the house tidying up.  He is somewhat OCD, and prefers for everything in the house to be in order; fortunately, his significant other, Zip, keeps everything well in order when he isn't able to.

Dan is an extraordinarily quiet person, preferring to listen rather than talk.  This isn't to say, however, that he never speaks at all.  When he does speak, he tends to be constantly serious and to-the-point.  Thanks to this, though, he also tends to be a bore to most of the children.  (As well as some of the grown-ups.)

Originally, as Hope started out as an Invader Zim fancharacter and I was so used to her adoptive parents being Zim and Dib, I had made Dan to be more or less an outright parody of Dib.  However, he quickly gained his own - very differing - personality and traits, and his appearance has changed quite a bit since his initial design.

99. Mystery Mauer

Name: Mystery Mauer
Gender: Female

Age: 9/10 (?)

Universe: The Tales of Hope and Mystery, Metalocalypse

Special Tag: 'Designed By...'

Hope Hornbuckle's partner in crime, the brains to her brawn, as well as her best (and only) friend, Mystery is the quieter of the two, but that isn't to say she's any less intimidating.  If anything, she is even more so, as at least with Hope any violent outbursts are predictable and expected.  She comes from a household of the musically adept, and as such has a great liking for music; she and Hope, as well as a couple of other kids from their neighborhood, put together their own band, and occasionally hold concerts in Mystery's garage - at least when not arguing over what songs to play, or what their band name should be.

Mystery was created by Emlan, and used in this challenge with permission, as Emlan used Hope in their own challenge.  Also, the above info blurb is subject to change, based on Emlan's input and the fact that I am terrified of being wrong about characters that aren't mine.  :D

100. Hope Hornbuckle

Name: Hope Marina Hornbuckle, Lauren Dimaguiba

Gender: Female

Age: 9 OR 1, 6, and 55

Universes: The Tales of Hope and Mystery, Fall to Ruin saga

Special Tag: 'Based On...'

An enormous brat (in more ways than one) who is extremely spoiled, as well as somewhat of a control freak.  She has to have everything her way, and god forbid anyone get between her and what she wants.  Her favorite things in the world include food, fire, and her best (and only) friend, Mystery Mauer.

Hope was based off of a real person, but don't be too horrified by the concept of such a person existing just yet, because  Hope only came into being due to a lone action of this real person, who was otherwise very friendly and likeable and not at all a troublemaker.  This odd, outlying action of theirs also gained Hope her love of fire; on one particularly windy 4th of July, a bottle rocket firework shot off into a neighbor's bush, setting it ablaze, and the person upon whom Hope was originally based took one look at it, smirked, pumped her fist victoriously, and hissed 'YESSSSSSSSS'.  And that sole incident was what brought Hope into being.

Hope shares some physical characteristics (Filipino descent; black hair and dark eyes) with this person, as well as her real first name.  While Hope was the name given to her by her adoptive parents, and the name she will always use regardless of whether she learns her real name or not, her birth name is, in actuality, Lauren.

Hope started out as an OC in an Invader Zim fanfiction, entitled Fall to Ruin.  She was rescued by Zim and Dib as an infant, and later adopted by them.  Had the story progressed further, she would have turned into an equally spoiled and obnoxious brat, and then much later, a rather terrifying woman with little to no moral compass (who fortunately chose to spend her time running a dance club rather than making people miserable).  The ages of 1, 6, and 55 refer to her ages at different parts of the Fall to Ruin story, while 9 is her age in the Tales of Hope and Mystery.
